sorry michael I know you're anti-monarchy but here's a video where he describes every king and queen of england and great britain since william the conqueror
Had Henry VIII's son not butchered the whole line of succession up, Lady Jane Grey would have been queen, just not at sweet 16 and after queen Elizabeth.
This is actually such a quality Rosen meme - not only using unique clips for each monarch, but also adding further context and jokes in when necessary to enhance the humour. (Also, that Lady Jane cutaway gag was genius.) Thanks for making this :D
He would probably be another thing about the teacher from the "NO BREATHING" clip. Or he might just be "NO BREATHING". Man outlawed just about everything.

The ones that are not just actually funny but have care and thought throughout them by the editor. The ones I can look at and watch and go with my whole heart "pop" ,NICE!
1:59 Context: Edward VIII aside from being known as the king who abdicated so he could get married with woman of his choice, is also known for becoming bit too friendly with a dictatorship of a certain Austrian corporal, allowing his family to co-opted to their propaganda efforts. It got so bad that behind close doors Edward was accused of sabotaging the allied war effort, while he was attached to british military mission to france. (There was a claim that Edward had leaked plans for defense of France to the german ambassador, but these remained unconfirmed). When Edward delayed his return to british soil with excuses and spent his time in Portugal with a banker who had connections to Germany, as well as getting warnings that his Nazi sympathies has had attracted attention of German intelligence agencies, Churchill had enough and told him to get back to Britain at once or face court-martial. Knowing that there's just too much heat on Edward, Churchill made him governor of Bahamas, figuring that at least there he can't hamper the war effort any further.
This isn’t real, he’s not actually talking about the monarchs. It’s edited together, if you look at his shirt it’s different and the background changes 🤓
What I predict future monarchs will be: Charles III: “No need to have a riot” (reference both to him being quick to anger and people not liking him in general) William V: “And everything was lovely once again, wonderful” George VII: No idea, too young
Edward IV, fights and wins every battle in the wars of the Roses, marries who he wants like a boss and hold onto power, dying peacefully in a turbulent time. This video "So BoRinG!"
Knowing that Michael Rosen is british, this is accurate... And this is why it's- sips snaps NICE P.S: The thumbnail was hilarious, but I could imagine it in a royal museum...
While in many ways he acted and ruled like a monarch, he wasn't technically one. 'Every English ruler' or 'every English head of state' would have to include him (and his son), but not this.
Nazi simp, more than willing to let the nazis bomb london to oblivion to force them to peace, UK as we know it now probably wouldn't exist today if he didn't abdicate
