You sound like a 19th century liberal--and I mean that as a compliment.
Free speech and lies are two different things. Allowing clear, obvious and abject lies under the banner of free speech is a slippery slope.
People on the right have this notion that others are supposed tolerate their intolerance. Which is just a logical fallacy.
I agree. The same people - think squad - who protest against Islamophobia (not just within the U.S. but outside) do not protest how non-Muslims are treated in the Islamic world. The same for how LGBT people are treated in the Muslim world. It is double standards as they often criticize not just the U.S. or even the West but other secular countries for some of these rights - but they are not ready to shame the Muslim world. There is a double standard. Wrong is wrong.
@@renegadepuppy Because the Muslim world doesn’t come under their remit. The Muslim world wouldn’t be “shamed” by anything they could say. You vastly overestimate how much their protests would achieve.
I don't want to live in a world where everyone thinks exactly the same. That's a recipe for brain atrophy.
@RealTime Happy to hear you voice what most of us centrists feel.
I would love you having Trump on the show. 😂
Maybe the best I've seen.
What do you think Kennedy was right about?
likely something to do with anti-vax craziness
Captured agencies? Processed food? Endless pharmaceutical products? Anti war? What do you think he’s wrong about?
The debt, the division, the chronic illness, etc. Issues that both sides wouldn’t even touch.
@@gt29schopenhauer The chronic illness?!? What chronic illness?
Environmental abuse
Another superb rant from the conscience of the nation.
Well said 💯👏🏾👏🏾
I can't believe that Cheryl Hines is married to him, wow.. ..
Meanness
is contagious, thank you Trump.
Totally correct. Meanness didn't exist before Trump.
@@seanwickham8905 What? You don't know about Dick Cheney? The guy that started a war over WMD's he KNEW didn't exist? A million Iraqi civilians dead. 6000+ US service members....dead. 15,000 US amputees.
Anyone that celebrates who this guy endorses is nuts.
Cheney isn't the definition mean, He's the definition of evil. Cheney is the devil!
He wants Trump to lose because Trump doesn't march to the orders of defense contractors and start wars that make people like Cheney....former CEO of Halliburton into billionaires.
I'm completely fine if the US left NATO. None of the other countries pay their share.
Surely you are not dismissing the crass Kilery Clinton!

Maher is so butthurt toward the Left makes one wonder what Ick he himself may have given and who rejected him. As for me, I used to be a fan, but his endless rants against those who used to make up a core part of his audience is Icky (almost as bad as getting your Mom to talk to that date)….
Truth! Not Social!
Yes.....The ICK Factor. Now Trump can audition.
LOL kamala and her rabid hysterical lunatic laugh........her annoying voice as she talks like a 4 grade teacher down to you
He'd run the show and tell people they're fired.
Please see a doctor about your severe TDS.

He doesn't stand a chance against AOC.
Bobby Kennedy is weird and so is Dumpy Trumpy and are a perfect match!!
"The worst guy since Hitler"
Did you forget about Putin?
Cheney?
Oh, wait he said vote Harris so he’s a saint now.
Why I left because the far left drive me out of the party.
Right after his schpeil about not demonizing the other side, like his sage Obama stated, he says that. What a hypocrite
@@lilyblossom1240But I think when you talk about the kind of numbers that I’m talking about, that - because child care is child care. It’s, couldn’t - you know, it’s something, you have to have it. In this country, you have to have it.
But when you talk about those numbers compared to the kind of numbers that I’m talking about by taxing foreign nations at levels that they’re not used to but they’ll get used to it very quickly. And it’s not going to stop them from doing business with us, but they’ll have a very substantial tax when they send product into our country.
Those numbers are so much bigger than any numbers that we’re talking about, including child care, that it’s gonna take care. We’re gonna have - I, I look forward to having no deficits within a fairly short period of time. Coupled with, uh, the reductions that I told you about on waste and fraud and all of the other things that are going on in our country - because I have to say with child care, I want to stay with child care, but those numbers are small relative to the kind of economic numbers that I’m talking about, including growth.
Or maybe Pol Pot, any of the N Korean dictators, Stalin, Mao, Ayatollah, any of the African dictators. Am I missing anyone?
...and not 5 years ago we were complaining about liberals not fighting the win-able and good fights. Not showing backbone in adversity. Not calling out obvious lies...
But we can do that without being butt-heads!
So far, not so much. Don't give up. Both sides need to raise the bar.
I remember when we were above this and that.
Far leftism ruined the party
I miss those days when Tip O'Neill and Ronald Reagan were actually friends. Huge political disagreements, but mutual respect as people...as Americans.

No, that's not the reason. It's the same reason Dems wob't criticize Hamas but will harass Jews. Democrats are intolerant, violent bigots.
