    My gratitude to the inlightrned onces, who realized the self. And are now selflessly awakening us who are clinging to the body-mind.
    Ashavakra is the Saint who speaks using the voices of other. Thank you for recording and putting this message on social media. A million fold blessings.

    I have listened to this 100s of times. Also the Adhuta Gita and the Ribhu Gita. Really helps forgiving people and myself. But
    where it says "play the game of Life" it's hard to take anything seriously! No wonder people leave everything behind. Too much trouble.

      Shri Avadhuta Gita and Shri Astavakra Gita are probably the most humbling answers to the most important and pivotal query asked in the whole of the Great Bhagavad Gita;
      Oh my Dear Lord, how am I to understand who I am?
      Please be merciful and tell me for my existence rests only on this knowledge Jnana and surrendered devotional practice Bhakti.
      Bhagavad Gita Chapter 8
      Ofcourse it is revealed better in Chapter 13 and 15 however Avadhuta Gita and Astavakra Gita explain this clear cut like the sword.
      ---
      Religious merit, sensory pleasures, worldly prosperity, discrimination between this and that - these have no significance to the yogi free of duality. Thus Advaita Vedanta is.

    This body exists, But it is not mine. This "I" that i thought was the only thing there is; is only alive through thought and what thought is dependent upon. The subtle "I" is not my name, is not my thought, is not my projections, positive or negative. Neither one are true, they both are interdependent on each-other. We look for the "truth" of life, but there truly is no truth. Each truth is true in a way, and not true, as it is discriminated by the mind. I am NOT that what is named or thought.

    How can anything known by books and people, who are termed as illusory by God himself have any truth.

    • @ostrari
      @ostrari 2 роки тому

      The Avadhuta Gita sort of explains that. Basically it isn't real, you aren't real, you're telling yourself you aren't real by considering yourself as real listening or reading what isn't real but is and isn't. Confusing af, but really it boils down to consciousness and unconsciousness trying to influence eachother like how the environment affects an organism which affects the environment in a lesser way. "You are pure, homogeneous reality," otherwise called "Brahman" or to a modern person, nature. These books aren't about learning or teaching. They're about what it is to be without any perception of self/ego, and therefore simply a part of the all dictated by forces out of your egoic control. Timeless in the larger perspective, because time is the ability to percieve change, but the whole just includes all time and space. I like to think of it like animation of reality. The animation has to be already done before any decision at all by a character in order to move forward logically.
      Edit- Basically Hinduism and Buddhism both boil down to Taoism as both of their higher truths, but in another view, it could also all be perception based, which would be why you could hear these higher truths at all, because your higher self already knows it but doesn't necessarily want to. Your higher self is still, however, Brahman, so both perspectives are likely correct.
