- Had a blast playing this course, which just opened up in late February 2024.
Visited the park after some rain and everything I walked on was firm. Keeping my fingers crossed that SF will keep this Par 3 well-maintained! - Спорт
I've played it. It's really nice and the greens are first-class. Some of very tricky.
Good stuff here, James! Looks tough!
Thanks man! Super fun, definitely get out there if you can.
Sounds good look forward to seeing it
I don't know what you shot, but looked like it roughed you up a bit early, especially the greens. So I guess the redesign was a success because most of the interviews I saw said they wanted to challenge golfers on the greens. I've been really curious to see how this course turned out, so thank you for showing it, James.
Greens remind me of Corica. So rare to find a course in the Bay that's underlain by sand. Good hearing from you!!
Always watching... which sounds creepy, but... well, whatever. You know what I mean.@@golfwithjames
Can you tell us which club you use on each T? Maybe on the next video
Definitely something I did in my earlier videos and something I'd like to do again! Thank you so much for the feedback
hey James have you tried sticking your mic on your hat like Not A Scratch Golfer? might help get rid of the clothes rustling sound. thanks for showing off the redesigned course!
I've thought about it--it's hard to ignore the fuzzy deadcat in my peripheral haha. I toy with the idea of using a fixed shotgun mic instead but I figure it's nice to hear the player clearly from a distance.
Definitely get out there! Tee times open up a week before at midnight.
They need to flatten those greens. Nice renovation but they got too cute with the slopey greens. IMHO
I'd say off the top of my head that GGP, Corica South, and San Jose CC are up there as some of the most challenging greens in the region.
that was a lot of putts
It was very sad. I've had enough lip-outs in the past two weeks to make me consider the L.A.B. putter
