Just a quick overview video done for the Bassani Slash Cut Slip Ons for the 2015 Indian Scout. Before and after sound clips. Add me on Instagram: eugenebytes
I like it. The definition of great sound is "Does it sound like a Harley?" I appreciate this motor & it efficiency. It is nice to make it sound more aggressive w/o upsetting good neighbors. Take the baffles out & Bassani gets real loud . Real loud is good for how many miles. Nice choice my man. 👍
Ken Goodwin there are quite a few nice exhausts for the Scout. Some are full fit and some are slip ons. If you ride with pillion be sure to get the right ones as some have you remove the pillion pegs. Hope you have a great time and I just bought a Scout too, picking it up in spring.
Sounds just like my Kawasaki Vulcan 750 when I put a V&H Cruzer exhaust on it. Louder, but just doesn't have the right sound. Only Harley makes the right sound, and that is due to their long stroke 45 degree single crankpin engine. It's no secret why Harleys sound so good, I don't know why other manufacturers can't make their v-twins sound the same. Harley never did get that patent on the sound of their engine. Real Indians (from the '50s back) had very similar engines to Harley, the main difference is they were 42 degrees instead of 45 degrees.
just curious... then why would the very first thing sportster owners do to their bikes is after-market exhaust? I am a Scout owner... and although I have nothing against Harley (I always thought I would buy one)... part of the reason I love my Scout is because it is unapologetically not a Harley. It's the only cruiser on the road that isn't even remotely trying to be a Harley. Yeah Harley sounds good stock... but almost everyone who rides any bike puts after market exhaust on.
@@hannahschroeder5529 Indian Rogue here.... There's always a trade-off. Harley growl in lieu of Indian suave style & performance out the box. %-) Ride safe...
I really wanted to love this bike, but it just misses the mark in my opinion , especially since its supposed to be a Indian Scout. Its like looking at the new Dodge Challengers and the Chargers,,,,the challenger looks the part, the Charger completely misses the mark,,,looks nothing like the old Chatgers
Dan Favata Have you with that small brain of yours heard the term sleeper? The Scout will do 0 to 60 in 3.7 seconds and the quarter in 11.12 at 120... Just because it doesn't look the part doesn't mean you should not fear the wrath of the Scout the fastest " cruiser" on planet earth...
+deadbolt9019 no, Im saying it sounds like most metric cruisers today with a little exhaust enhancement, to put it nicely! It sure doesnt sound like a Real Indian Scout.I had a Suzuki Marauder 2001 and a Suzuki C50 2007 and no matter what exhaust was put on, they still didnt have any great sound,
Dan Favata I say this because you strike me as the typical HD rider, "if it ain't Harely, it ain't a bike" mentality. I own a few Harleys currently, as well as some Kawaskis, a Yamaha and a Ducati. All have their fair share of pros and cons. While I am a big fan of the HD sound, I am one for different sounds. I love the throaty rumble of an American big block, but I also love the wail of a high strung Ferrari V8. Just don't pigeon hole yourself as the typical Harley rider. If your on two wheels that is cool with me. I'm happy I get to pick from a stable of different rides. Sometimes my old 65' Harley is the choice to go with if messing around town, but man nothing beats a supermoto for tearing up some super tight twisties. Nothing bums me more than meeting a fellow rider and all they have to say is regurgitated from their preferred brands marketing department. I hear this from ALL bike genres. As far as the "Real Indian Scout", I'm guessing you are referring to the old 2001-03 HD S&S powered bike.
+deadbolt9019 Its my attitude getting the best of me LOL heres the list since 1982... 75 Honda 550 4, 1967 Triumph T100r, 1982 Yamaha Seca 750, Yamaha TW200, Honda Mb5, Suzuki Maruder and C50, 1977 HD XLCH,2003 883R, 1969 BSA thunderbolt 650, 99 HD XLC 1200, probably a few more I cant remember. Ive had a few of each you could say.yeah my Sporty gives me some attitude, probably why I love the leaky, shakey sob so much.:)
Love the flat deep red color.
I like it.

I have just bought a brand new 2019 Scout 1133 and wanting to put louder exhausts on it,I like the sound of the Bassani Slash cut.

@@hivnaeaclue Thanks for that info, didn't consider that,I'm sure you will enjoy the Scout as much as I am.
Did u installed quiet baffles on them or they just with stock baffles that comes?
That a plastidip job? looks really nice
It doesn't sound louder, just deeper which is fine.
That's all I want....if I wanted a noise machine I would buy a Harley.
when will be thailand come.?
too bad he was riding in the wrong direction.
Yah think???
Are the baffles installed?
Tyler Scheuerman Yes they are
Great sound! How much louder are the Bassani's than stock? Are the baffles easy to remove?
the new pipes ge got doest match with the size if the bike
Sound like a metric. The Harley Vrod sounds like an American V Twin, with a good set of pipes on it.

sounds like every other metric bike out there with a crappy exhaust!
+Dan Favata You're saying it doesn't sound EXACTLY like an air cooled harley right?

+deadbolt9019 Really love my old HD dinosaur with factroy mufflers though!
