In my experience Seattle is one of the least car dependent cities I have lived in. A couple of points. The last time I was in Seattle I used transit exclusively. I got an ORCA card before I went to Seattle and used the bus and light rail exclusively in the city. I found transit withing the city very cheap. I also used the ORCA card on the ferries. I did rent a car, but only when I left the city. I actually rented and returned the car in Centralia to avoid the outrageous costs in Seattle. I took Amtrak to and from Centralia. I never drove on the interstate at all during my trip, but I do know my way around. As far as Seattle weather goes, it has gotten a lot hotter in the summer than when I lived there. Back then (1950s to late 1970s) 80 was a HOT day. I now live on the coast of Maine in part because it seldom gets hot here, where hot is above 75 and you can always escape the heat by taking the yacht out on the ocean. Personally I never noticed that Seattle was gray and dreary, but I am a fourth generation Washingtonian although my career took me east. That said, I am thinking about moving back to western Washington and the summer heat in Seattle is a concern for me.
We have been in Seattle for about 8 years, everything described in the video is accurate and reflective of how we feel here. The hardest part is the 4 month of cloud between November- December, not many people will be able to adjust to this. Our way out is to fly to southern California for 2 weeks during December break, the tickets are quite affordable, and the sunshine is much needed!

Is there fiber internet? Internet is very important i am looking for a house 🏠 with garage

Visiting again in a couple of weeks and this visit will cement if I FULLY see myself in Seattle. The PNW is so beautiful.
