Thanks Mac. I've played this level a number of times and never could find that secret area behind the world map. This secret area also has another Atomic Health located at the top down a passageway. Best way to deal with Century Drones in the Crate is to jet pack up just in front of and open the door and close it quickly. The Century Drones will run into the door from the inside crashing and exploding with no harm to you. I also appreciate you pointing out the clues and the significance of the signs. I know this is an old video but I hope you're doing well.
Scene 14 - Take 7 - Big Mac Davis enters the set with pipebombs, blowing everything up in the process! QUIET ON THE SET! STANDBY... LIGHTS! AAAAAAND... *_ACTION!_*
One of my fave levels in Duke 3d! I always found it hard tho this map always kicked my arse lol another radical walkthrough my bro can't wait for hl 2 E11!!
Since I don't go for 100% Kills in this game, then I don't even bother going to the regular exit and I just head straight into the secret exit. Those three enemies, that will spawn once you approach the regular exit, don't even count towards the total kill count until they spawn, so if you just ignore the regular exit, you will still get 100% Kills.
There's another non-secret area that you missed. When inside the last secret (behind the wall that shows Earth), fly up into the vent. You'll find a switch to open a passageway into the main vent. And I think there's another (another!) Atomic Health.
As a kid I wondered who'd win between the Battlelord and the Cyberdemon but now Battle Lord seems more like Hell Knight or Baron of Hell tier... Pitting it against a Cyberdemon just seems mean to the poor Battlelord
The one in E1L5 has a lot of health, and I say, it would go on a nigh-equal footing with the Spider Mastermind. [EDIT] Actually, since the original E1 boss has 3/2 of the SMM's health and also a seemingly more rapid bullet output, it is safe to assume the Battlelord would easily shred the Spider to bits. I'd even dare bet against the Cyberdemon which already has a rough time defeating the Mastermind, let alone basically a buffed-up version of it with faster discharge rate.
Hey there bud - long time viewer, first time actually leaving a comment.. Firstly let me apologize for my lack of effort in the past and not smashing that like button and subscribing when I initially discovered your doom videos and watched them all! I really enjoyed how you walked through the maps pointing out the secrets, spawn locations and methods to get all the items. you offer so much insight - that I found myself going back and playing each level with your video as a map or guide. why didn't I smash it?! I'm back here right now- because I've recently started streaming DOOM FVR and discovered they put some classic maps into the VR experience! After recovering from my mind blowing - I wanted to come find your videos again to refresh my memories of the where the secrets are! The maps in doom VFR: • Doom - Hangar • Doom - Nuclear Plant • Doom - Toxin Refinery • Doom - Command Control • Doom - Phobos Lab • Doom - Phobos Anomaly • Doom - Halls of the damned • Doom - Tower of Babel • Doom - Slough of Despair • Doom - Pandemonium • Doom - House of Pain • Doom II - Entryway • Doom II - Underhalls I just wanted to ask you - if it was alright if I mentioned you and your channel in the stream or videos for doom VFR? After all - I'm learning all these locations from you!
Wow, another awesome video! Btw, this is an unpopular suggestion, but I would love it if you were to give your opinion on the music of these levels. I don’t know, I just thought that it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on some of these soundtracks. :)
Those 1990 style movie cameras you pointed out are still in use today, unfortunately not all that often because most movies now are digitally shot. Your choice between 100% kills and the secret exit reminds me of Scythe II Map 31 where a similar situation happens
3rd episode in a row, when you upload and I'm ready with sandwiches :D 7:40 it wasn't quiet at all xD Btw. before you open the secret exit you had 4/4 secrets. It looks like secret didn't count as a secret :o
Makes me wonder...... Would the Lunar Apocalypse movie be the same way as you did all of the videos of Episode 2? Can't wait for Tier Drops! Very neat gimmick used there!
If you ever want to play this game through again, you should play the Come Get Some difficulty BUT play every level as though it were the first level. Meaning you only start with the pistol. Every level is techinically designed to be able to do that but some of them are a bit harder. Flood Zone fx. is a difficult one. Occupied Territory is pretty difficult as well. I would love to watch that at least. :D
There is a Teleporter on the left hand side of the normal Exit when facing it but you have to clip through the wall to use it will send you back to the snacks machines room.
Fun fact. The playstation version of Duke Nukem 3D is called Duke Nukem Total Meltdown. Acts 1-3 are mostly the same but act 4 is not The Birth, it is entirely different and even has a different final boss than the Alien Queen.
Blood pools from protozoid slimers, Protector Drones from episode 4 and radioactive barrels can hurt you when you walk on it unless you have protective boots.
Use the Mighty Foot with the regular foot for something funny (both legs up in the air while walking). Also, can you shrink the battle lords or the century drones?
I quite this map. A nice small map with some nice action. I didn't notice any armour available (I could be wrong about that) so a pistol start could be a little challenge, but all that atomic health wouldn't make it too bad. It is the E4M4 of Duke Nukem 3D Levels.
All right. Well you are right. This map is short. N64 did it better because the map there is bigger. You have a whole street with a turn left at the end with a door and after you did the rest of the map, the door will open to another bigger movie set inspired by Jurassic Park maybe or Indiana Jones. And there is a Jeep in front of a door which says "Area 51" And yes in N64 there is a secret exit in this map, but it is not TIER DROPS, it is the map AREA 51. I do like the N64 version of this map better because it is bigger. Also very hard, especially the last room with the secret exit has 3 or 4 enemies they shrink Duke. And a lot of Slimes and Ocotbrains. And in general this last room in N64 is kinda creepy. I think in N64 this map has almost 100 enemies. I forgot. And yeah the Pigcop next to the destroyed helicopter. I always thougth he was the one flying this helicopter :D Good Walkthrough.
For whatever reasons, enemies that haven't spawned yet don't count to the kills total. You could ignore those enemies in the normal exit and still set 100% kills.
Thanks for the _engaging_, BMD! Also, we all know here that in the earlier versions of the game it was possible to kick enemies with both mighty feet and still to be able to move around, right?
There's an exploit in this level which you can use to get to the regular exit right at the start. All you have to do is crouch-jump under the exit door to get to the switch. Perfect for speedruns! Also, you got the Jetpack when you didn't need it man.
Is it because I love doom and have never been a fan of duke nukem but I find the enemies on dn a bit more clumsy. Is that the way it is or just personal preference?
Few things I did in this map, I crept up to battle lord and I shrunk him in the heel...I don't get to play the secret level, I don't have the luxury of the no clip tool, I am playing this on the Nintendo Switch.
Have you seen the, well, not glitch exactly but screw up where you can Mighty Foot (left foot) standard kick (right foot) and walk all at the same time?! lol
It annoys me how a map doesn't blocks itself for you to not get everything in one run without cheating. Here without the Noclip you have to choose between all the kills or the secret exit.
I'm wondering whether he wouldn't actually get 100% kills even if he skipped the regular exit room since the total number of enemies doesn't go up until they spawn.
Yay, we movie now, gaise! A piece of film with starring Duke Nukem himself, could be great. Oh, we cool, so just buy some popcorns and take your seat. Because... **Pulls out a snack packet with drinks inside** *>:)))))* lol Anyway, this map was really enjoyable in many ways.
True, true but i like the level because of its theme and inside the building with... just... EVERYTHING!!! I LOVE THIS MAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well you dont start with any armor and you have many enemys in small places like the 3 drones inside the secret area and you could have so mutch dmg from them thats why they give you so many atomics + the B.lord boss thats my opinion about the Atomics i guess xD
I am also on my playthrough of this Game. You had some framerate drop on The Abyss, right? Same here with me. Watch out for "Babe Land" in Episode 4 . I just can't play this level it's so ....lag. Anyway, great playthrough . I started watching You from your Doom Walkthrough and now I'am watching this. You're voice kinda changed, it's soother and your commentary seems funnier and you seem not to be so familiar with this game as much as with Doom but all for better for me it's more like sitting with a friend and having a nostalgic trip with a game I enjoy it a lot
Wait, you drop down at the start of this level right? I remember that you could skip the whole level if you turned around and ran for a closing door that will block the exit, although that might have been removed in the atomic edition. Also kind of a waste to skip the level in some ways, it's nice to see you being thorough and showing us all of what the game has to offer :)
The helicopter debris is not complete It just only wheel, blade propeller, front window, and door Where is the main cockpit, passenger cabin, and also the tail?
BigMacDavis: "i'm just in the mood for pipebomb explosions today!!!"
Michael Bay: "I certainly approve!!!"
Game: "Quiet on the set."
BigMacDavis: "OK" _proceeds to make as much noise outside the set as possible whilst the door is still open_
That's what she said. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
And that's how it ROCKS, anyway! lol 😎
Because Duke Nukem is saving Earth from aliens who babe-nap.
Thanks Mac. I've played this level a number of times and never could find that secret area behind the world map. This secret area also has another Atomic Health located at the top down a passageway. If BigMacDavis made a movie I would watch it.
Since I don't go for 100% Kills in this game, then I don't even bother going to the regular exit and I just head straight into the secret exit. Secrets: 1:50 - 3x atomic health, 3:10 - atomic health, freezethrower, 2x devastator ammo, 5:32 - (9:22 revisited) devastator waepon, 10:14 - shrinker, jetpack.
Non secret: 10:42 - night vision goggles, 11:57 - 2x rpg ammo.
Secret exit: 13:14
And at last, the mighty foot was engaged!
There's another non-secret area that you missed. When inside the last secret (behind the wall that shows Earth), fly up into the vent. You'll find a switch to open a passageway into the main vent. And I think there's another (another!) Atomic Health.
Will you show off the Laser Trip Mine more at some point?
I see BigMacDavis video, I click play!!
As a kid I wondered who'd win between the Battlelord and the Cyberdemon but now Battle Lord seems more like Hell Knight or Baron of Hell tier... Pitting it against a Cyberdemon just seems mean to the poor Battlelord

Great run! I did notice in total there were 57 enemies, the three assault trooper’s at the end who spawned behind your back were 55, 56, and 57 :P
Wow, another awesome video! Btw, this is an unpopular suggestion, but I would love it if you were to give your opinion on the music of these levels. I don’t know, I just thought that it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on some of these soundtracks. :)
Awesome video Davis. Good to know that Duke cares about film industry... Orson Welles would be proud.
Those 1990 style movie cameras you pointed out are still in use today, unfortunately not all that often because most movies now are digitally shot.
Your choice between 100% kills and the secret exit reminds me of Scythe II Map 31 where a similar situation happens
"DAMN! That's the second time those alien bastards shot up my ride!" -Duke Nukem

Yay!, always nice to see a BMD video when i get on.
There is a Teleporter on the left hand side of the normal Exit when facing it but you have to clip through the wall to use it will send you back to the snacks machines room.
I found the teleporter, too. I wonder if there's a way to get there wihout cheats. There's nothing in the Duke Wiki about that.
For Dukematch, maybe?
Ooo bigmacdavis noclipped
As if the whole movie set were saying, "A little less conversation, a little more action, please!"
2:37 Those bastards have shot up our ride, AGAIN. Uhh, has a jinx with rides, maybe? 🤔 :b
One more video from BMD! Awesome! Thank you, come for hugs!
Use the Mighty Foot with the regular foot for something funny (both legs up in the air while walking). Also, can you shrink the battle lords or the century drones?
there is nothing more satisfying than using the mighty foot to kick the glass off the exit sign and then punch it.
In Duke Nukem 3d, there's a glitch that makes you use both of your feet for kicking at the same time.
I don't know why I am so happy that you used the Mighty Foot with a weapon haha
I quite this map. A nice small map with some nice action. I didn't notice any armour available (I could be wrong about that) so a pistol start could be a little challenge, but all that atomic health wouldn't make it too bad.
It is the E4M4 of Duke Nukem 3D Levels.

Love to watch your videos while stoned
"...so much fun to do. Just... death to the enemies all around us"
I think you should take some of those items you get in this map as props? Especially the jetpacks. lol
Fill in the blank with suitable word: BigMacDavis is the: 1-Best
2-Coolest
3-Most amazing

@@lihac5079 great choice
The levels of mockery are high with this one!
Why did you not include the freaking awesome helicopter crash from the opening of the level ?
I saved my game after it crashed. Bummer.
Great :) I get home from work, and I'm greeted by another cool video, great for destressing B-)
I was literally yelling, "push the register!"
*Yippee Ki-Yay BigMacDavis*
I love bigmacdavis
For whatever reasons, enemies that haven't spawned yet don't count to the kills total. You could ignore those enemies in the normal exit and still set 100% kills.
Yeah, I know about that. But it's always fun to try and kill all the enemies anyways.
6:48 Finally you leaned how to kick with your weapon out, took ye long enough.
You could skip those 3 Troopers if you don't want to use the noclip
Thanks for the _engaging_, BMD!
Also, we all know here that in the earlier versions of the game it was possible to kick enemies with both mighty feet and still to be able to move around, right?

@@superbobor Not sure. I guess another way would be to get some enemies to get Squished because for a reason that actually increases the kill count.
@@samuelantoniocastillomeza5034 Actually, before he steps up to the regular exit, the kill count marks 51/51, so that would count as a 100%
You can actually skip this level if you run towards the exit and jump and then duck and you can go under the exit and win.
Yeah I do kinda agree that the map is a bit short. They could have pulled something very fun and interesting from a movie set.
So the moon landing was a movie!
Yay, we movie now, gaise! A piece of film with starring Duke Nukem himself, could be great. Oh, we cool, so just buy some popcorns and take your seat. Because...
**Pulls out a snack packet with drinks inside** *>:)))))*
lol Anyway, this map was really enjoyable in many ways.
A clipping pattern: "idclip", and now "dnclip" ---- cool. Even a secret exit.
05:20 "you must use..." - does the jet pack not work here?
Yeah, this maps feels way too easy at this point. E3L10 is very cool from what I remember. I also remember E3L6 was about a subway station maybe?
This map is just as long as the Castlevania Netflix series
I use the mighty foot to deal with protozoid slimers for some reason
This is my fav level of the game :)
It's one of my favorites, too. But I'd have to agree that it's a little short and way too easy.
True, true but i like the level because of its theme and inside the building with... just... EVERYTHING!!! I LOVE THIS MAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder if anyone's found 100% secrets for the whole 3 episodes without assistance or someone telling them, just by comprehensive exploration.
There's also a way to skip this level if you run and jump and duck under the door to the exit
Oh boy! It's time for infinity war 2!
You’re my favorite anime!
When is Blood planed?
does the battle lord shrink
Wait, you drop down at the start of this level right? Also kind of a waste to skip the level in some ways, it's nice to see you being thorough and showing us all of what the game has to offer :)
Using the secret level exit I just managed a speed run of 52 seconds on this level.
How about: SHADOW WARRIOR?
The helicopter debris is not complete
It just only wheel, blade propeller, front window, and door
Where is the main cockpit, passenger cabin, and also the tail?
They probably couldn't design it very well in this old gaming engine.
How do I use “DNCLIP” if I’m playing on Nintendo Switch?
No idea. You might wanna try Google.
perhaps needs more lenght,,, yeah right

This is one of the worst levels of Duke 3D. Poor leveldesign.
