To be honest I would like you as a ref for one of my Sunday league games imo your the fairest ref I have ever seen. Add on 100% a pen contact started inside the box and ended up clipping his leg and failing outside the box
The question about pulling..... Football is becoming like rugby. A short while ago pulling a shirt used to be an automatic booking. People stopped pulling shirts. Then the instruction was not to book automatically and players started pulling shirts again. You couldn't write it. The incident in the game. You could clearly see that the defewnder is holding the attacker by both shoulders, I really can't see how you don't give that. Seriously, why does he have hold of his shoulders? Just because the attacker doesn't go down, it doesn't mean that it's not a foul. Other decision were I think on the mark.
Your straight on angle for the pen was crucial. It looked outside the box when I first viewed it but just about inside when looking at the slow mo.

Top performance again D, imo it was a more or less easier game, players only playing football, for me I'd have given a free-kick to Saha just before the SP pen, poor dude got sandwiched between two players while a third blocked him with his body, from this angle while me sitting at home it's a fk for Saha for me, maybe the perspective on the field was different.
I however have a small suggestion, that is to the person who puts the score and time at the top left of the screen during the match (you if you're the one who does it), and that is, instead of going 46, 47, 48 in the first half, you should be going 45+1, 45+2, 45+3 and so on, because otherwise 46 will mean it's 1 minute since the second half began. Same thing with 90+1, 90+2 etc.

Thanks for the feedback. With the timing, I will try to figure that bit out. I do like it with the time just because that’s how league’s operate but I can always try something new
@@RefsWorld oh I didn't know that. Then it's best you stick to the official timings. But I'm curious, shouldn't it be the way I said? A goal with 46' written next to it - how do you know if it's in the first half or the second half?
I think because I always signal the end of first half and the start of the second it’s always easier. If I can work it out then I will change it 👊🏾

Well reffed again 👍. Only a couple of things I would have done differently - I’d be a bit harder on delaying the restart of play (few examples throughout game) and then for me at 25:37 it is holding/DFK. At 25:51 if there is a foul and not having tried to played the ball it has to be red I think (direction of play / distance / control / location of defender). His next action was to shoot on goal. A red does seem harsh in this situation, and it’s easy to go yellow (I did and failed an assessment 😜) but I don’t think the laws support anything else. Impressive speed to get close enough to spot that hold tho 👍
Thanks for the feedback. With the penalty/red, I just thought at the time there was honestly no point in issuing a red. The game is done, it’s a penalty and it’s not SFP. You can get away with that at that point

May I ask your ref level? (I’m a level 5 ref/ match day coach & mentor with Essex fa) I’d love an opportunity to come out and watch one of your games some day.
From what I can see you are great at communication with players, you seem fair from your videos.
Positioning at attacking set pieces is quality, Your whistle strength has vastly improved on your early videos which I love to see 😊
Penalty decisions looks like it’s inside the box, you could move a few yards closer but you had clear line of sight.
A few times you had your back to the AR. Not at key incidents, but have always been told to keep the ball between you and them/ be able to make eye contact
But overall a good game from yourself 😊

I’ll be refereeing in the SCEFL when the season starts.
Mine will start mid August just because i’ll be away and at work. That will be great. I referee all over the place so i’m sure it will be easy to arrange.
I just done the level 4 fitness test and passed it thankfully. They used timing gates for the sprints

I’m generally quite fit so I find it on the easier side. If you train for it then you shouldn’t have a problem passing it

No, you can apply to it, I ref over Australia and I'm not a fifa ref, you just have to ask to create an account.
Gathering my reactions and trying to timestamp correctly.
With respect to the foul leading to the first penalty kick at 19:25, even at first glance I could see it was in the penalty area. My question was how much contact there was. From the replay that zoomed in, it was clear there was significant contact and you got the call right.
No foul for me at 24:35. He trips on the ball.
Dmitri, I seldom disagree with you, but I would have called a foul at 25:40. The hand over his shoulder pulling him back was enough holding for me, but he is subsequently pushed or pulled to the ground. The "tell" for me is how he falls. He does not fall as a "flopper" would... he falls awkwardly and unnaturally, which suggests to me he got assistance!
At 26:35 I agree with the yellow card plus PK. Defender #5 was proximate enough that I couldn't say it is pure DOGSO.
At 28:10, I might have let play continue, but calling a foul (or obstruction) on #6 is reasonable. He gives the attacker some room, but not quite enough to be able to claim the attacker crashed into him. Another commenter below said he would book the attacker for flopping. I wouldn't go that far! But I'd probably have let play continue with no whistle.
I was just AR for a youth title match and got my ears chewed off about off side calls I made. (Mind you, these were not tough calls... players were sometimes yards off side!) One parent said, "Do you even watch professional soccer?" "I said, yeah, I do, and I notice that in pro leagues, the players, coaches and fans all whine about off side calls same as here, and the VAR usually shows the refs were right!"

Hi! Interested to know your argument for the possible dogso? Is it because you deemed he lost control of the ball before or because of him dragging him down and then trying to play it?
A few factors. The main one being 6-2 and did I need to do it for that? Not really. Just manage the situation, their losing 6-2 and the game is done
To be fair, 28:10 i think its simulation and the grey shirt player should be booked. Secons oenalty I wouldnt have given ad I would have gave a foul for the 2 hands on the players arms pulling him and booking for C1SP (if I played on woukd have give then penalty offender a red for DOGSO). 24: 35 I think theres bith blue players pulling and/or pushing the defender down it would be a foul for me (16 pulls back of shirt down to keep him which is why he kept to the floor) [disallowed 6th goal].

Foul for me on 26min. One holding, a second player then takes his arm, definitely impeded the players progress, the player coming in and taking the ball is fine.
