He had some Lindros in his game. Not fully, but some of those moves getting in between and around defenders. Very fun to watch. Especially his CBJ days.
just appreciating a player and showing that player that you actually like them and then like you care about this dude and it's just a fantastic thing to see these highlights unfortunate that his careers come to an end but wow I'm pretty sure you can say had a great career.
Watching Him and Kovalchuk come up at the same time I remember when everyone wanted one of their two jerseys.. Then all the sudden it was the Datsyuk show.. Really thought Nash and Kovalchuk would of had more of an impact in the NHL.. Kind of a damn shame when you think about it..
man, ill tell u, nash was to me the first player to really showcase and start the "new generation" of the 00s and onwards. later we would have malkin, crosby, ovie etc. but nash was the prototype player of the new generation in nhl.
If only he could've left CBJ sooner... 9 years and a grand total of 4 games in the playoffs. This is a guy that was meant to be in the post season. Nevertheless, fun to watch
Growing up, Rick Nash was my favorite player but such a waste in Columbus. If he would be in any other team in the league, he would be a fan favorite league wide in that period of time along with Crosby Malkin Ovechkin etc.
I can't watch this without thinking what if Damn Doug MacLean had listened to his actual experts and scouting corps instead of his gut? Columbus's scouts wanted to compliment Nash with Kopitar and Vanek for the top line.
Even as a lifelong fan of a divisional rival (in those days) of Detroit. Rick Nashes prime years being cut short/wasted in Columbus is a 2k nhl travesty.
That number 1 goal is insane.
Absolutely unbelievable. He did it while skating slower than some of the ones that Pavel Datsyuk did when Datsyuk went through three or more guys.
Leafsnet liked
One of the best player of the 2000's for sure... many will only remember the older rick nash but when he was in Colombus he was a beast
Hmm I wonder what's going to be #1?
😂😂😂 We all know what # 1 is
Pee
An absolutely legendary player. Glad to have been able to see you play nash #61
He had some Lindros in his game. Not fully, but some of those moves getting in between and around defenders. Very fun to watch. Especially his CBJ days.
Lemieux not Lindros.
His power move was signitaure
his signature move was power
What is his power move?
"Nice move, another nice move, he SCOOOORES" legendary goal
Also the "wOWWW" right as he gets it skate to stick around the goalie.
#1 is the best goal of all time in NHL history (skill-wise)
it's my favorite goal of all time, just nasty!
@@CanadianBongRipper buddy chill with the name
Better than Ovechkin you think ?
@@patrickolivier1 juuuuust a bit
lol great goal but nah
Great player respect from Finland
just appreciating a player and showing that player that you actually like them and then like you care about this dude and it's just a fantastic thing to see these highlights unfortunate that his careers come to an end but wow I'm pretty sure you can say had a great career.
To me, Prime Rick Nash with 100% commitment was like the Kobe of NHL
That goal at number 1 was one of the reasons why I started watching hockey.
His goal on team canada should be on here
Apparently they forgot to check international play. That goal should be #2 on the list.
They can’t show it cuz they don’t have the rights for IIHF or Olympics
@@ssboooy4153 I think they just have to pay
I cant get that number 1 goal out of my head after all those years!
I love Rick Nash. I remeber watching him with the Rangers
He sucked ass for the Rangers, waste of money and time
Dany Heatley the Rangers won the deal by a mile so I’d say he wasn’t a waste of money
Thank you for your time on Broadway Nasher!
great career even if he didn’t get the big one. nevertheless was a great player
Best of luck Rick in the next chapter of life. Very sad his career ends due to injury but there is no shame in putting your health and family first!
What a talent this guy was. Gonna miss watching him play.
- A leafs fan
Great winger. And I will always remember how he presented the gold medal to the national team of Russia in 2008.
I love the big players who can deke. Big-wingspan dekes are something else entirely. What a stellar player!
Agreed it’s a thing of beauty, him, Mario Lemieux, Vincent lecavalier, big guys with amazing hands
Rick Nash WE SALUTE YOU!!! Rise high in Nationwide Arena
#1 was one of the goals of the decade
my favorite player
Watching Him and Kovalchuk come up at the same time I remember when everyone wanted one of their two jerseys.. Then all the sudden it was the Datsyuk show.. Really thought Nash and Kovalchuk would of had more of an impact in the NHL.. Kind of a damn shame when you think about it..
cliffyt19 I think they are both very unlucky with their draft teams
You already know what’s gonna be number 1
I respect him
I think we all know what will be the number 1.
Thank You Rick !
Nice list!
Great player. Legendary
These are insane
Notice how they all were with Columbus
(Edit) Except one
There was a NY one
Hate to see his career end this way but much respect for the dude calling it quits before he really gets hurt
Where was the team Canada breakaway goal?
Rick Nash is amazing
1:25 Wow That was Beautiful!
If you didn't know number 1 on this list you haven't been paying attention for the last decade plus
my favorite goal of all time

Legend
Irbe and Lalime in a video? Feels like I’m in a time machine
I was at that game against buffalo, I turned my head for half of a second and everybody started screaming and I was so lost 😂
Okay, only one problem with this. Olympics is still on a player's resume and that goal vs the Russians in 2010 should be on this list.
RICK NASH HOW DO YOU DO
Reminds me of watching Mario Lemieux dummy the league when I was growing up. Same reach, size, stride.
We all knew #1 was coming. Good God man, the skills
Rick nash was the goat man! Enjoy retirement rick!
As a ref wings fan, I really do think Columbus should retire his number. He was the face of this franchise.
He stayed with CBJ longer than many fans expected. During his last 4 years there, lots of fans wanted him on their team.
Well, it finally happened!
We all know what #1 will be.
0:53 well that's called stealing a pass.
Had me fooled the first time
Godspeed Richard .Godspeed
number 1 is probably the number 1 sports highlight ever. that or OBJ's catch..
they muted #6 because of TSN?
how about the goal he had for Canada against Finland?
1:11 for Anton
Was the second one a offside
Ranger/ Blue Jacket Legend... Hall of Fame
Breezy bruins?
What a career
Why there mostly with the blue jackets
Best player in Blue Jackets history
61 and 80 forever, go CBJ
Rick Nash, how do ya do
Where is the goal from team canada
If only he could've left CBJ sooner... 9 years and a grand total of 4 games in the playoffs. This is a guy that was meant to be in the post season. Nevertheless, fun to watch
#8 was meant for the other guy
Rip Nash
Man I’m sad now
I don’t even need to see the video to know what number 1 is
Growing up, Rick Nash was my favorite player but such a waste in Columbus. If he would be in any other team in the league, he would be a fan favorite league wide in that period of time along with Crosby Malkin Ovechkin etc.
I miss Nash
Special teams god
Should of played number1 ten time 👌
”Nice move , ANOTHER nice move..”
