Amazing man! I've played with a lot of legends over the years through leagues, tournaments and charity events and I can honestly say they are always so amazing and professional. It also shows you how bad you are when you play against the pros lol.
Been a fan for years. The stuff you been doing lately is unreal. So happy for you. Played chel with mcdavid and Mathews. Skated with the Nash. Keep the grind man and stay humble. Your killing it.
I was able to skate on the flyers home ice in a high school hockey game, most surreal experience of my life. Great to see how well you are doing, keep it up man!
Rick Nash is 6'4, 220. You really get to see that when he stands next to Nasher, and it's really cool. Like, you REALLY get to see that NHL'ers are REALLY big. Even guys like Johnny Hockey are still big, relative to normal people.
@Nasher I can only imagine. There's a player down here in Bakersfield who's the same height and weight (Alex Peters), and, even as someone who's 6 foot, 285 pounds, and *A FAN OF THE TEAM* I was a bit intimidated to go get his autograph at a season ticket holder's event. 😂😂😂
The size of the average player really changes after you reach a certain level of competition. Shows you how skilled the big guys in the NHL are. Also shows you how crazy athletic the “small” guys are at that level.
Went to high school with a bunch of former Knights players in London Ontario. Nash is just a few years older than me. Key to turning around a team that until that point had suffered from terrible owners and teams. Picked him #1 overall and built around him. Corey Perry came in as a rookie his last year in the O and led the team to its first Mem Cup.
When I was interning for the Lake Erie Monsters in college, we had some morning skates with the office staff that included NHL alumni Jock Callander and David Oliver. They could absolutely still play. They were twice our age and outplayed us in every aspect of the game. Got deked out of my jock on more than a few occasions.
diehard rangers fan here, forst jersey I ever got was a Rick Nash one, and he's been my favorite player since. I wish so badly that I could be in this position.
Hey Nasher, just fyi: You REALLY should stick your leg, the one which is closest to the defender, out when you're trying to cut to the net, rather than trying to cross them up with a deke. Stick that leg out and gain the position. Don't be afraid to muscle them. Also, you should be getting wide and using your body during board play. Be strong. Don't try to only rely on puckhandling.
Absolutely. Still the #1 fan favorite even after all the amazing players that have come through the organization. He personified pride, heart, and determination.
Ur so lucky. My dream is to meet Rick nash. My names nash and I saw him win goals medal in 2010 with team candy and he’s been my favourite player for my whole life
That would have been amazing, outstanding job. I would have totally picked a fight with Jody, just so I could say I got the shit kicked out me by Jody Shelley...simply amazing 👏

Amazing man! I've played with a lot of legends over the years through leagues, tournaments and charity events and I can honestly say they are always so amazing and professional. It also shows you how bad you are when you play against the pros lol.
100%, these guys are still absolutely buzzing. Can’t imagine what it’d be like playing against them in their primes.
@@TheNasher61 scary, probably
Your not bad, they're just that good.
4:07 Nasher being kind to his fellow alumni teammate. Lets go! Way to spread kindness and positivity like that!! 🥅🏒🙂👍

Having Rick Nash skating at you full speed is absolutely terrifying. He’s a beast.

@@TheNasher61 I'm not saying it wasn't scary, but are you *sure* it was full speed? It looked like he was playing with his nephews.
Johnny Gaudreau is not bigger than the average man, at least where I am from in Canada.

2:28 what a pass you look like you belong out there!!
Jodi Shelley is a cool down to earth guy. Talked to him a few times. Wouldn’t want to fight him though!
About 5 years ago I played a random stick and puck with Terry O’Reilly. The feeling of being on the ice with pros is awesome.
Love u nasher
diehard rangers fan here, forst jersey I ever got was a Rick Nash one, and he's been my favorite player since. I wish so badly that I could be in this position.
crazy cool i skated on NCAAD1 ice and ECHL ice but never an nhl rink
Nice to see you back on skates again.

I love your videos and if people don’t agree by being rude in the comments just annoy it your the best UA-camR ever
Although I don't play hockey, very jealous. Thanks for sharing.
I played at Honda Center and scored a hat trick there was pretty surreal but at the end of the day it was like skating on normal ice at a normal rink
I've been trying to meet nash🤣 he was in the suite beside me last season on his jersey night but couldn't get his attention
The post had the best defense of the day!!!!!
That would be a dream come true
Nasher is an alumni himself
Bro killed the griddy
That griddy was majestic
What a cool experience, dude! Thanks for sharing - and next time out we need you & Nash on the same line. 🏒
When u gonna get a position for the jackets
Finally he’s in nhl toke him so long

Rick nash was the man, I miss watching him play for the blue jackets
Cool to see TPS liiga jersey!
Nasher you should use the trigger 7 pro if you want to try a different stick
He can’t. He has a contract with Bauer so he can’t use CCM or any other brand of sticks or gear.
@@skillzy_I3I oh I didn’t know
Jody Shelly is the biggest legend here in Halifax
Absolutely. Still the #1 fan favorite even after all the amazing players that have come through the organization. He personified pride, heart, and determination.
