Hi Sar, I added 120 gr of condensed (sweetened) coconutmilk after it started to thicken while cooking. It’s nice! Try it once. Gives it a subtle coconut flavor and cuts the sharp edges a little. I hope you’ve these tins too and know what I mean.
I tried this with grapefruit juice and it came out beautifully! I used potato starch instead and it was great. It thickened really quickly. I kept the heat to below 200 degrees (F) so it wouldn't scorch. This recipe is fantastic and delicious - way better than trying to mess around with eggs!
