    Hi Sar, I added 120 gr of condensed (sweetened) coconutmilk after it started to thicken while cooking. It’s nice! Try it once. Gives it a subtle coconut flavor and cuts the sharp edges a little. I hope you’ve these tins too and know what I mean.

    I tried this with grapefruit juice and it came out beautifully! I used potato starch instead and it was great. It thickened really quickly. I kept the heat to below 200 degrees (F) so it wouldn't scorch. This recipe is fantastic and delicious - way better than trying to mess around with eggs!

And second, i have a question: can make this, for example today, to use in new year eve? I mean, can we storage this in the fridge day before or i have to use right after making it??.     careful. not all white sugar are vegan. make sure it's not processed through bone char.

    hi Sara
    can we use store bought lemon juice in bottles rather than fresh lemon juice?if yes then how many mililitres should we use?thank you

    I used to love this when I was a kid but it was too sweet and in the UK fresh lemons weren't always used - which i think is best
