I like that in the Boss battle of Rudy the Clown, the "Cutscene" is longer than the battle itself.
I suppose the Wario Land 3 bosses (apart from Rudy the Clown) were technically the good guys, since they were trying to stop Wario from re-awakening Rudy the Clown!

Ah I remember each time I heard this music I was like "FUCK" then I spent hours as a child to figure out how to defeat these bosses. The first boss actually took me the longest lol.

You can only game over during the final boss and the enemies are there to hurt you since Wario is invincible until Rudy the Clown.
For this to be gbc the sprites look smooth...

I'm able to get through this game no problem :) I used to struggle of course. The ONLY boss I cannot stand is the soccer rabbit. My timing is bad and that dang turtle keeps throwing him back at me!

Beating Wario Land 3's bosses without taking damage and calling it an achievement is like beating Super Mario Bros while using the jump and run buttons and saying the same thing tbh. It's kind of a given.
If there is no damage sprite animation being shown, its No Damage
No damage = Not getting hit
BecausePants Lol right? One of those rare cases where no damage is a tad redundant ;)
In this game, I think he means "damage" like getting forced out of the arena by the boss in this run (and also that one enemy that CAN kill you)
But they could have literally repeated the boss a hundred times before a successful take and we'd never know...

I just realised something. I have this but the save broke and I didn't think it mattered since I didn't get that far in the game. But I just realised I remembered all these bosses and I just realised I must have almost beat it!. Why broken save whyhyyyyyyy

Programming limitations.
Every cutscene can only have one name box, which is stored at the very beginning of the cutscene.
And since the entire sequence is one cutscene, the name couldn't be changed in the middle of it.
