Thanks for checking this out! I'm pretty sure the reason why this is slow is due to CharmsBarPort, which causes the CPU usage to skyrocket (This has been noted in the "Known Issues" section with a fix); Interestingly enough, when you look at Task Manager, the main culprit seem to be Windows Defender actually.
