We would not need to be taxed to death 10 times over if the government would stop supporting anyone and everyone in the world with our hard earned tax money including themselves! Taxes should go for basic USA needs and infrastructure, not every conceivable social give away. I don't work every day to support every one else. I earn it i should be able to keep it and donate where i see fit!
I want my washing machine and appliances without mother boards in them. I want older type appliances.
They make them that way so they break down at the end of warranty and are too expensive or impossible to fix. It just wastes resources and landfill space. What a criminal shame!!!

Sure, taxes are taken out of their paycheck, but they get most, if not all, back in a refund when they file each year. Some even get more back than they paid in.

Walmart had already lost much of my respect. I went in there last week and they're remodeling. They have 5 registers , but only two are open. They have 15 self-check out, but only 3 take cash. 😡 They keep that up, I'm done with Walmart.
Too much of a hassle shopping at Walmart these days. I quit going there when those self-check outs were brought in. I do not work for free for anybody, even Walmart.

Well let's be honest anyone who thinks the US government can pay back 34.7 trillion dollars of debt within raising taxes is a complete fool. The government made a 10 year plan to pay back 1.5 trillion starting in 2025 and then turned around and blew trillions of dollars. They are borrowing more man's more money everyday at higher interest rates.
This country will fail its not if but how much longer can it survive running on debt.
If I remember correctly, before there were income taxes, the federal government received their income from tariffs. So what Trump is saying essentially is that we need to go back to that to help the American people and support industry here at home and not in other countries. I would totally support that.
Cutting taxes, even temporarily, is what they should have done during the plandemic, instead of screwing around with sending stimulus checks that put people into a higher tax bracket.
They basically did, they sent out each American citizen about 6 thousand dollars in relief money!

The money the fed pumped into the system to pay for those stimulus checks devalued the US dollar and thats what inflation really is. They have been doing this since they ended the gold standard. The US dollar has lost 84% of its purchasing power in the last 50 years.

I went to Bank of America this week to withdraw money from the ATM. I keep trying different amounts because I was getting a message I exceeded the limit. I had money in the bank and did not exceed my limit that I've had for years. I checked the website when I got home to make sure there was nothing wrong and the website stated "Note that your total withdrawal amount may be limited based on the specific ATM you use". I was not withdrawing very much so was very surprised by this message. I think this is only the beginning of them limiting withdrawals. I used the ATM because the bank was closed during normal business hours???
That should be a red flag warning to you.

Property taxes are terrible too, at least where I live. We pay more every year. If they don't raise it then they raise the value of property so they get more.
