In today's episode of Meghalaya Travel Vlog Video we check-out from Sohra/Cherrapunji and head towards Asia's Cleanest Village, Mawlynnong also called God's own garden, a clean, organised and beautiful garden village. We also visited the Balancing Rock located near Mawlynnong, Meghalaya followed by a boat ride at Umngot River, Dawki ( the popular instagram viral place ) and overnight stay at Betelnut Resort at Dawki, Meghalaya

Recently I visited Meghalaya for vacation. Travelled to Meghalaya from Kolkata via Guwahati and Kaziranga National Park.
My itinerary for Meghalaya was:
Day 1 - Journey starts from my home in Kolkata to Howrah Railway Station. We boarded Howrah - Saraighat Express in the evening.
Day 2 - Reached Guwahati Railway Station (Assam) in the morning and drove to Kaziranga National Park by our pre booked cab. Evening at leisure
Day 3 - Early morning went for elephant safari and open jeep safari at Kaziranga National Park and afternoon drive to Shillong from Kaziranga National Park. Night stay at Shillong
Day 4 - Drive from Shillong to Cherrapunji (Sohra) en route to Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point for Zip lining, Duwan Sing Syiem Bridge, Wei Boit Waterfall, Lyngksiar Waterfall, Nokalikhai Falls, Mawsmai Caves, Seven Sister Waterfall (Nohsngithiang Falls) , Sunset Point. Evening at leisure and stay in Cherrapunji (Sohra)
Day 5 - Full day trek to Single Root Bridge, Double Decker Living Root Bridge, Rainbow Waterfalls, Blue Lagoon. Trekking starts from Tyrna village and goes beyond Nongriat village. Evening stay at Cherrapunji (Sohra)
Day 6 - Drive to Dawki ( Umngot River) from Cherrapunji enroute Asia's cleanest village Mawlynnong, Balancing Rock and boat ride at most popular Dawki / Umngot River and overnight stay at Dawki
Day 7 - Drive to Shillong from Dawki while visiting the beautiful Krang Shuri Waterfall and a short trek to two storied Phe Phe Waterfalls. Stay at Shillong
Day 8 - Full day Shillong local sightseeing that includes Laitlum Canyon (Grand Canyon of India), Elephant Falls, Ward's Lake, Shillong View Point (Laitkor Peak), Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians, Air Force Museum, Lady Hydari Park, Don Bosco Museum. Evening for shopping and snacking at Police Bazar, Shillong and night accommodation at Shillong.
Day 9 - Long drive from Shillong to Guwahati en route Umiam Lake. And evening at sundowner cruise to watch the beautiful sunset on the Brahmaputra River while enjoying our overnight stay in Guwahati
Day 10 - Returning to Kolkata from Guwahati by evening flight by Air India
