Map knowledge, enemy placement, and execution/optimization are on point. This is gonna be hard to beat, but I will try, starting tonight.

Really solid movement tech. It's so strange that the spider ball boost only works when going left, that always irked me during playthroughs. Very fun run to watch. Kudos.

Awesome, congrats! I didn't think it was possible either, at least not without some major new discoveries. Happy to see it done though!

Seriously. Thanks man. I appreciate it; I couldn't have done it without your run.
Sadly, there is still a good chunk of time to save on this run. Maybe I'll get around to it. :P

is there a particular reason you keep going into spider ball in midair, or is it just for style points?

I'm doing something called "Spider throwing". Basically, if you go into spider ball form while in air, you move through the air at max speed (i.e. running speed with Varia, 2pixels per second). This only works while moving left for some reason.
So basically, if I need to do platforming while moving left, I'll be spider-throwing.

How is called this program with splits?

      I'm using Livesplit, with sub-splits. livesplit.github.io/
