@7 Angels 7 Plagues I'm pretty sure Nick did all the synth stuff for the album, the synth player in the live show is just there because Nick wouldn't be able to play guitar and do the synth both at the same time live. So yeah they practically dont need one but for live they do. Can't imagine the record without the incredibly atmospheric synths though.
This is the first concert uploaded to UA-cam I can watch and say "I was there." Fucking blew my mind, and I got to meet the singer of Show Me the Body.
@@mosiacmaniacswarm wadiyatalkinabeet? Nah, it’s during The Dead Singer, can’t see it. I’m the one who locked hands with Lex. You can however see a stagehand run out to me a couple times in the following songs, he brought me a rag so I could clean it up lol
It was surreal to witness that incredible moment at 47:57 where some dude puts a cap on Alexis, and he tosses it while very clearly and angrily yells "GET THIS SHIT OFF ME!"
There were some crazy moments at their show in dc. At one moment the guitarist took his guitar off and threw it backstage, I was actually able to get that on video. Alexis also took a guys shirt into his mouth and ripped a bit of it off. Was one of the craziest shows I've ever been to.
I saw Nick Sadler say on a Reddit AMA that they aren't going to play "The Flammable Man" at all on this tour, because it's not the kind of sound they really want to focus on right now or something to that effect... This seems to confirm that, as they played almost every other song on YWGWYW but it. It makes me sad :( it's my favorite on the album
That fucking sucks man, Flammable Man had the best metal riff of 2018. It's sad that they think of it as a throwaway for old fans even though it's such a great song.
That makes next to no sense considering they are still doing Hell Songs and stuff from the s/t. I love their new direction and have no issues with growth but I hope they aren't looking to totally push away their roots. That would ruin this band for me. Without something like the flammable man the new record would have fell flat for me. Again, I love the new sound but they are appealing to me because they have never lost touch with their original perv grind roots.
Damn, this hole set is like more than half of their entire discography. They have to pull up and make another album. After all they came back after their 3rd album, so their is still hope...
Absolutely amazing show! Probably one of the best I've been too. So much energy and chaos. I'm the dude who tried to slide back into the crowd at 56:39 XD.
A great deal of that song is probably made up of in-studio synths and sounds - so I guess in a live setting a backing track and drums wouldn't be totally exciting to play

Travis puts on great shows. I’ve seen daughters in Louisville Kentucky and Travis in Louisville also.

I saw Melt Banana, Dillinger and a couple more bands like this. I would love to see these guys live. Glad i came here! Cheers from Holland.

Well yeah...if they play anything off of hell songs and Canada, certainly. But the percussion changed big-time even on there self-titled.
I don"t think he"s underrated. Their early stuff was rythmically pretty insane, anw I think anyone who hear them is sure that he"s the beast.
