    Even tho its old its a great video thanks for showing how easy it really is to haft a stone axe, i was able to put a rock on a handle really easily thank to this video but since i don't know how to knapp, it was a rock and not an axe head

    I thought you might have. I find rocks all the time. I seem attracted to them. I'd like to make one like yours but with a different handle. The basics you illustrated though were clear. Good to know.

    WE DID THIS AS KIDS WHEN WE WOULD GO FISHING, WE WOULD GET BORED AFTER 8 HOURS AND START BUILDING BOWS AND AXES. GREAT FUN

    Neat idea. Your swinging mostly the whole axe head kind of like kinetic energy is being used like in a atlatl spear.

    i found the rock in the creek...knapped it into an axe head...very hard to explain but ill be doing more knapping videos soon
