I’ve been out of hs for 4 years I started self studying in December took my English test January , passed it, then I decided to knock out Science and Social studies in one sitting in February and I passed both tests ! Now I’m focusing on my least fave subject math and I’m feeling quite confident I plan on finishing it this month!! GoodLuck to everybody , don’t give up!! My opinion pick your strongest subject , take a pretest and if you pass it go ahead and schedule the real test 99 out of 100 xx you will pass, and that will give you so much confidence and motivation to keep going and in general you will feel better wont feel like your stuck.

I've been taking pre tests and studying for only math and I will take your advice and knock out English, Science, and Social Studies because I'm confident that I'll pass those 3. And once I pass those than I agree that I won't feel like I'm stuck. Thank you
Also, how did your math test go?

Chase Harold if I were you I would take a pretest on all 3 subjects and if you passed the pretest just go for it, but don’t try to knock it all out at once that would be to much pressure , space it out . I actually a taking it this month t be sure. You got this !

Yes I took pretests from a GED prep book and passed English, Science, and History. I failed the math pretest. I'll make sure to space them out. I hope you do well on your test :)

I got my GED at 52. Now I’m in college.. You can do it! Not gonna lie yo the math part of the test is hard. Memorize ur formulas it’s mostly all algebra. Best of luck to ya!

Walter Keith I looked at the book the night before and on the bus to the testing site. I didn’t know how to use the new school calculators so I just did it by hand but yeah that shit would help. The English, Social Studies & Science are reading passages and drawing your answers from that. You can do it yo ~ and much more. Go for it. Let me know how it goes. I’m around. GFL ~ Good Fuckin Luck. Much Love Jill xoxo

You can totally do it! Don’t give up, please! They have study stuff for the GED online or you can get a book at the library. They have a book there of tricks to pass. A lot of the answers you just eliminate for obvious reasons, they don’t make sense. I know you can pass. Don’t let doors remain closed for you ~ you deserve the opportunities that will be coming your way! Please try. Hit me up if there’s anything I can do to help. Blessings.😊🐛🦋

Nico Sama No not for city college. They use your scores from the GED to figure out your GPA. Then you take the college classes the assessment department deems appropriate for your English and Math. You can study online or from a library book. I recommend getting the book with common sense tricks to pass. Wishing you the best of luck!😎👌🏼

I have purchased the 2019 Kaplan GED Test Prep workbook. I have been studying on my own and needed this video. It's just hard to get the support of my parents, for my dad is set on the standard education path and expects me to graduate. Hi Nelly,
I currently signed up a prep class but they seem to only use the Aztec software and no book.
    Is that still legit?

The hardest part would be to just START. After that it’s just the journey until YOU PASS. Because that’s the only choice no matter how long it takes! What do you/ we have to loose anyway! :)

When you arrive at the test center and show your ID, do you have to fill out any other forms before you take the test? And if so, what is on them?

    • @RifayetUday
      @RifayetUday 5 років тому

      Alyssa Rose
From my experience as a GED test taker,
the test center formalities before exam interpreted below:
      - Bring your GOVT ID like Passport,
      - Sign on your exam attendance sheet,
      - They’ll take your photo, scan and save your finger print and sign again on a page just before your exam.
      - They will also provide you few blank laminated note pages & marker pen for exam.
(You’ll unable to wipe them so use them humbly)
      - Finally there’s camera everywhere around your desk so they will tell you to raise only your hand instead of asking for help if you’re having any technical problem during your test.
      Best of luck. ✌️🙂
