I like how Sekiro had to imagine Genichiro using the Sakura Dance and learn to beat it before he actually learnt how to do the dance itself. Sekiro is such a masochist that he only learns by making things harder for himself.
I have been trying to beat Genichiro for about 3 days now, I’ve finally got it to where I can regularly take one health bar down but I get smacked right after, this is the motivation I need to make it through my first play through. Lady butterfly was EZ and so was oniwa but genichiro is insanely hard for me

I did the battle gauntlet clueless of the fact that I would unlock a new boss fight...then I see this "Inner Genichiro" I say to myself "i thought that was a mod or something"...and I fight him thinking he is going to have some simple extra attacks then this man leaps into the air and 2 shots me
