- Well, this vlog looked different than expected because of some health stuff that came up with Sherri, but we called an audible and made sure she was able to get the rest she needed. I still made a lot of progress on stuff I wanted to get done before my trip, and I got to go through an amazing box of memories!

Bless you! The way you take care of your wife is BEAUTIFUL!! It touches my heart to see you serve and love her. I also struggle with an autoimmune illness, and with that, it brings feelings of isolation and guilt to being a burden, but my husband is also my rock when needed, always serving and never complaining. What a joy to see how you care for your spouse. I think I saw a Peter and the Starcatcher program in that box. We saw that as a family too--I love those books, especially on audio. Narrated by Jim Dale who also did the Harry Potter series. I have fond memories of listening to one of the series on a family road trip--either to Florida or South Dakota.

I understand so much what Sherri is going through as far as I have fibromyalgia abd Ostearthritis, but I learned to manage my pain and rest is really the key.
So glad you can relieve so many things for her.
I'm happy Sherri and you are together. You remind me of my son, who's wife has MS. He selflessly ensures all her needs are met. A few times a year he takes a day for himself, but is sure to have someone at home with his wife. His wife is brave, kind, smart and appreciative of all he does for her. He does it all because he loves her so much. 🎉
I save all my programs too! It's fun to go through them- sometimes I discover that I saw someone in a show before they were known. A lot of mine are signed because I like to wait at the stage door. I even still have the program from when I saw Cathy Rigby as Peter Pan when I was 8 years old- over 30 years ago!

The Smithsonian's have rotating displays, so it's worth dropping by a few of them even if you've been before. US Botanic Garden if you need a little nature, considering the weight of the trip as a whole. Feel better Sherri!

I live in the greater DC area. Two spots to consider - Vue Rooftop Bar at the Hotel Washington. Awesome night one view of the White House and Washington Monument. Old Ebbitt Grill - classic old school DC spot where deals get done. Good food. Near the White House.

So, funnily enough, I'm heading to DC in a couple of months myself. You should visit the postal museum or the archives. The Asian art museum is also a good choice.
My Dad went on an Honor flight and they have some great outdoor exihibitions honoring veterans that you might enjoy visiting.
Yes totally agree on the what is it scale. Is it EDS? Migraine? Allergies? Whatever sickness is going around?

Hope Sherri feels better soon! That little cat was so cute! Looked just like her. Safe travels to DC- We loved the monuments, the Smithsonian zoo to see the pandas and going to shake shack lol.
I saw the pandas last time I was there and loved it! Unfortunately the pandas aren’t there right now. They will be back later this year though

Alot of times when you have a autoimmune disease and you get some kind of infection, it can cause an increase of those symptoms like pain. This happens to me. I can’t tolerate fever, I am way more pain. It also happens to my patients. I am a PT and I specialize in chronic pain patients.

You are a fantastic husband. Sherri, peas sound good, I use diced tomatoes. Sherri make sure he feels guilty alot. You get so spoiled which is a great thing. Adam you had a great case of the "Might as wells".

Feel better Sherri! I can relate as I also have many daily pains and struggles....it's not fun😢...but we just keep pushing!❤ My partner also can sense when its really bad because I sit around more etc. People with chronic health issues become very used to dealing with them and just surviving but some days really catch up!

Well, full confession, I was actually seeing if I could rent a car to surprise you guys at the market she has a booth at this weekend! Just randomly show up to buy some of her items.
