The fact that the instructions are on the table and he didn't bother looking at them is hilarious 😂😂😂
We like to see if we can figure it out lol. - J
This is how us men operate.
@EcclestoN00 😂😂
You didn’t read directions! Load ice on top of everything.
I worked through it, made for some funny outtakes. It’s all good ! Marc
What he says is wrong "You can't drink without a mixer". There are 2 black caps in the box. one for the blade and one for the drinking container below.
@@TheAverageKitchenNinja tends to make bold statements but failed. lol. Those ice 🧊 are huge and you put a lot in. I recommend to use actual small ice cubes instead. Put like only 5 small ice cubes. Pour water first at bottom, then fruits and couple of ices not a lot. The portal blender is nowhere near as powerful as the Ninja Mega blender which is 1800 watt. It has more power and torque than these small portable blenders.
I have both blender Jet 2 and this Ninja Blast. The purpose of these portable blender is for mostly adults taking to work and using them.
You can bring spring water bottle, small frozen smoothie bag and works ice machine. So this blender is very convenient for you at work
@@TheHailstorm77, how did they fail? The direction clearly states to fill with liquid first. Then add ice last. I have one and I use regular ice cubes, never had a problem.
@@sparta7660did you just literally not read my entire response? Read again. How big were their ice? Do you know how many voltage watts this machine has? I have like 3 Ninja Blasts in my house and these portal blenders require lots of water and small ice cubes. In fact, you don’t need ice cubes just frozen fruits will make a frozen smoothie. These portable blenders are not as powerful as the Ultimate NINJA blenders that have 1500 watt power.
I had knock off versions of these in the past. One thing that helps a lot it is to start the blender in a horizontal position and calmly turn it vertically. The key thing is let the blades get momentum and torque before starts crushing ice.
Good tip! - J
This would be good for college studends or people with roommates, especially if you don’t want to share your blender with others.
Great point. Thanks for watching! - J
My wife bought it for office, we work together and sometimes we fancy a shake, smoothie or a warm cocoa. It works fine, slender enough to keep it next to the coffee machine 👌🏻
Perfect! - J
Good for people in apartments that want to use it at anytime because it is not as loud. To make a quick smoothie anytime. For camping or going for a trip. Going on vacation.
All great points! Thanks for watching. - J
I want to get this, for breakfast on the go, lunch at work and evening protein shake on the go. This looks great.
The link to buy is in the description and pinned comment! Thanks for watching! - J
I am from Australia. I tried getting one last night. They don’t ship to Australia. They sent me a message to try Amazon or wait until they come to Australia.
Oh geez that's too bad. Our links are Amazon links so maybe it will work? - J
Can you please show me a photo of the portal plug. I think the usb cable should be fine. I just need to see if I need to get an international adapter
Yes! Great! Exactly what I needed to see. I didn't know if the cup could be removed from the base. Glad to see that it does. You're the greatest! Instant subscriber. 👍
Love this comment !!! Thank you so much !!! Marc
You guys are just great! You give real life experiences! Good, or bad, you give your honest opinions as they happen!!! Priceless!!!
We certainly try! Thanks for the great comment! - J
THANK YOU!!! I'm so glad I saw your video. I stopped after the second try with the ice and knew I no loner wanted it. I was hoping it would work better then the BlendJet, which really doesn't work well with even the tiniest pieces of frozen fruit without jamming and stopping just like this one did. Again, THANK YOU!!
Glad we could help! - J
I like this for single people as they maybe don’t need big servings. I don’t have any blender this size, so this video has helped. Thank you ❤️🇨🇦
That's great! Thanks for watching! - J
I just ordered the BlendJet 2 for the purpose of making protein shakes etc for personal use and being it’s portability. Makes a big difference when I can bring and have my shakes anywhere anytime. So convenient xD
Let us know how you like it ! Marc
The blendjet does not come with drink top. Thats extra.
@@stevegonzalez7673 the Blendjet 2.0 now comes with a separate lid
@@stevegonzalez7673just remove the lid and sip like a regular person. It's your blender right
Bought it and read the instructions and use it daily. Its a great gadget
🤙🏼🤙🏼
Target audience is people like me. I work 14-16 hour shifts an hour away from my home and I drink smoothies for breakfast. It’s hard to eat them on the go or to find healthy alternatives that are open when I’m working (graveyard shift). I also sleep in my car while working more than one day in a row. It’s great for people on the go with long hours, or folks who don’t have access to a wall plug in for the normal blender base.
Well that's a perfect use case, you're right! - J
I take it on the go to each session at the gym for a delicious post-workout protein shake. Great product!
That’s awesome ! Marc
Great honest review! You guys are hilarious!
Thanks ! Marc
I saw a nurse that had it on the desk and he told me it was great. I purchased two on the website for a special discount.I’m an admitting clerk always on the go.
Awesome !! Marc
What do you think of it so far?
I feel like if it was advertised as something like a “less mess single-use blender” it would make more sense than just a “portable blender”
Even the word blender is a stretch…..more like a shake mixer…. Marc
I’m curious to know if ninja makes replacement parts for this product, like lids, and the actual cup it's self?
Not really sure, maybe the ninja website has details ? Marc
I will use it every day for work … it seems pretty good and I am well happy with it. Thanks guys from the UK 🇬🇧
That's great! Thanks for watching! - J
could you tell me if its still working. i'm planning to buy it for a daily use.
Yes my one is fantastic I love it ..
I have seen other blenders. I do love the mouth spout on this Ninja lid. I love my Ninja blast on the go. Serious in 30 seconds it’s all blended nicely.
Awesome! - J
Gotta love your facial expressions..Glad that you managed to work it out in the end...Thanks for my first laughs of the day...Plus of course your review of the product...
Haha and thanks for the great comment! - J
Hello guys. I don't recall watching a review about the Cuisinart stand mixer back there in your kitchen. It would be cool. Costco is selling the newest 6.5 qts. model for just $149.99 (valid until June 8). Have a nice day!
Ur right ! We haven’t! But it’s on our list. Thanks for the ongoing support ! Marc
Actially I would take this along to tabletennis trainingcamp. We use the Nanopresso for a late night espresso, too. Looks pretty interesting. Leakage worries me a bit. Cool review.
That’s awesome !! Thanks for watching. Marc
I don’t think these blender are meant to crush ice alone . You need fluid. I bought the blend jet 2 after a video saying it doesn’t blast through ice. Happy I bought my blenjet, it’s amazing. I’m thinking of buying the ninja blast as gifts for Christmas if it’s available in Canada. Did not like paying the $20 C duty for shipping blenjet here after they say shipping is free. My blenjet works for me , I take it to work. I got my protein and collagen in easily without taking out my big blender in the mornings.
A (life-long) professional mixologist info: you need at least 1/4c liquid. Water is not always the best flavour you can use. There are several medium to use rather than ice, yogurt is one. With powders, you need to cover the bottom with liquid, place your powder, and then the remainder of liquid, etc. If you use anything carbonated, to u need to temper the carbonation before adding it to the mixture / before adding more items to the carbonated beverage. ... thanks for the demo, I am glad to know what to expect about the product: it looks good, from MHO.(my humble opinion).
Thanks for the great comment! - J
@TheAverageKitchen I just realized my language in this comment, the part about carbonation, is possibly difficult to understand. So, I reiterate:
When mixing carbonated liquid, take a sampling of what substance the soda will be mixed with and thoroughly introduce that substance before completely mixing (unless effect is desired, etc).
Good stuff. I picked one up today, gonna give it a spin with some basic smoothy recipes. I initially got it to break up chilis and stuff for doing homemade hot sauce (I don't wanna use my good blender for super peppery madness, it'll be a pain to get the scent out and mix a fruit smoothy afterward lol).
Good vid guys
Let us know how you like it ! Marc
Will definitely get one of these.
Awesome! Link is in the description! - J
i have a blendjet but it jams to often for me making me have to empty it snd fill half way blend then the other half when i just want to run out the door lolz. i want one of these Vs a full size blender because it feels wasteful you could never get it all out and these small ones are just all in one after drinking just clowe it u and back in my backpack till the end of the day instead of having to clean the blender plus my bottle i pur it in to take with me.
Great point! Thanks for watching. - J
Can you blend hot liquids with this? The vitamix blender of the same size says "No hot liquids." I want to make bullet proof coffee...need to blend hot liquids...
I don't believe so... - J
I’m a flight attendant and would love to take this with me on my travels.
That would work! - J
Thanks for the honest review. Nice knife! Can you share the make and model?
Thanks so much! If you're referring to the samurai sword of a knife Marc has, the link is in the description! - J
Was curious if this can charge on 220v..wanted to bring it abroad
With an adapter I don't see why not. - J
@@TheAverageKitchen that’s what I’m looking to avoid, dose it say 110v-220v on the bottom of the unit..if just 110v then that’s US only
Mine is arriving tomorrow, I intend to do fruit smoothies with protein in it, healthier breakfasts OR a on the go smoothie.
Let us know how you like it! - J
How are you liking it?
never wanna jam ice first on blades directly anyways. i always put liquid first then fruit then ice so the blades can start that blend process gradually and create a suction for the ice.
Good tip thanks.
Great entertaining review! Love ninja products but will continue with my Hamilton Beach one until I can get the ninja in Canada
Thanks for watching! - J
great for travel. i lways take fruit from the breakfast buffet or conferences i attend. also, you can probably get more charges if you charge it fully. it works right out of the box but you’re supposed to charge it fully first (2hrs). liquid on the bottom, soft stuff, then powers, and ice at the top and it hasn’t failed me yet. great review and thanks for pushing it to almost failure:)
Thanks for the great comment! - J
Saw the Ninja Blast at Costco this week. Box comes with 2 drink containers. I think it was selling for about $90 Cdn. Was curious about it as I had purchased a portable blender online (never arrived, no contact from company 😕) & had purchased a Vivitar from Walmart in the US for about $20. It sucks. Vessel goes over the motor, doesn’t twist into it, resulting in liquid going around the outer shell of the motor base, though it’s still contained inside the vessel. But back to your review of the Ninja Blast. I think it was first in the UA-cam search results 🙂. I think it’s geared to people who want to blend and go, like me. Pop it into the car’s cup holder. I like the flip top lid. I’ll probably just stick with my NutriBullet for my smoothies. I just pour into two Tupperware drink bottles with twist on lid and flip top cap for dipping or with a straw. Thanks for the informative video.
Thanks so much for the awesome comment! - J
Looks like a really neat product, will look at reviews of other ones of the same 😊
Thanks for watching !! Marc
Where can we find this product
As far as I know right now only directly from Ninja. - J
Directly from the ninja website, though they are currently out of stock presumably because of high demand so might take a while to get your hands on one
Love mix drinks so most my friends don't have blenders perfect for me to share a drink with
Great idea! - J
hey at least it gives us a heads up thank you sir 🎉
Thanks so much !! Marc
Does this have a safety feature? Would suck if your cleaning it and accidentally hit the button while your hand in is in there it's gonna be a bad day
If you remove the reservoir to clean, you’d be good to go. Marc
Hold it upside down, with the ice inside, and then slowly turn it right side up
Great tip. Marc
I always put the ice on top. It seems to work better that way
Good tip! - J
Yes. This thing was amazing at the pool making frozen margaritas!!
That's actually a great idea for it! - J
I might be the target audience. Post-gym, I buy fruit from street vendors (Thailand). I'm looking forward to blending without having to go home. Thanks for the entertaining review!
That’s awesome ! Loved Thailand. I spent time in Pai, Chang Mai and Patong Beach in 2018. Cheers. Marc. 🇨🇦
how do you order to Thailand ?
@@therealkingmoni Lots of options. Package consolidation services, care packages from friends, have someone bring it in their luggage when they visit.
It’s just like the blend jet !! Thanks for making me laugh !!
Thanks for watching !! Marc
I find that things like this, if they dont have a detachable blade and i try to rinse it under water to clean it, itll stop working after a few tries. Scared to purchase this for that reason
Good point ! Thanks for watching. Marc
I nearly bought it but the hole at the bottom put me off. I can just keep the regular size one
Thanks for watching! - J
It comes with a screw on cap for the base so you can take the “beaker” off the blades
I'm a substitute teacher and i love this for making smoothies at lunch
Awesome !! 🍎. Marc
Will it blend?
Most things they try to blend....I doubt it... Thanks for watching! - J
Great Review
Thanks for watching ! Marc
Only an expensive high powered blender would blend frozen fruit and ice smooth. These would be better with unfrozen berries and fruit. Good for camping 👌🏻
True! - J
I don't even want this product but the video was entertaining to watch XD
Thanks so much! - J
The ninja was having a bad day ⚔️
Lol
I had bought a Blendjet portable blender but two things I didn't like number 1 it did not come apart like this one does so if you let any smoothie start to dry it is hard to get down and clean the blade with your hand because sometimes just blending it with soap and water doesn't get all of it off the blade and. Number 2 I tried blending it with just unfrozen strawberries and milk and a couple of ice cubes because I didn't want frozen strawberries to be to hard on the blade but it turned out that a fresh strawberry it could not even handle it got smooshed and stuck under the blade and would not blend it was so chunky so I returned it and like this one you can't take it off of the vessel at all though for any reason at least the Ninja can come apart to wash better I still wish the blade could come off but at least you can take the plastic off and spray off the blade I have always like Ninja products so I am thinking this one might be better than the blendjet I just like them for the cordless part of it and the size sometimes I don't want to make a big amount or me and the kids all want a different flavor so I can just make different shakes and just rinse out between without having to use my big one
Thanks for the very detailed comment !! Marc
You absolutely can take apart the blendjet 2.
Maybe they updated it but when I got the first models of them that thing would not come apart I tried and I didn't see no where in the instructions that said it could only the lid so I had to try and fit my hand down the whole blender to get to scrub the blade but my hand didn't fit I bottle scrubber might have worked it would not blend a unfrozen strawberry anyways so that was the other reason why I returned it@@moeazizi
@@CherryTreeBlossom7 It always came apart. You just needed to twist it real good. I hardly ever take mine apart anyway. The way you wash it is simple. Just fill it with hot water about half way, squeeze a drop or two in, put the lid back on and turn it on for one cycle. It gets super clean. I've tried a lot of other brands but this one has the strongest motor of all and the shortest charge time for the battery. Buy yourself another one and enjoy. I use mine every single day for fruit smoothies.
My Blend-jet was shocking it aways leaked it soon went in the trash!!
It states to charge it first , it also states to put the ice in the top, not the bottom. I love mine
Great! - J
@@TheAverageKitchenit’s not really great. You’re not very good at presenting this product sir. Respectfully.
Thanks for your point of view and watching.
@@Djp1989 Besides, I think anyone who's ever used a blender knows that ice doesn't work unless you add enough liquid.
Any good for hot drinks?
Possibly, but not that we are aware of. Marc
You do know that the lid snaps down to lock it open, right?
Of course! 🤔 - J
Is it easy to clean?
Very. Thanks for watching. Marc
There is a line on the machine stating the minimum amount of liquid required.
Yes I believe there is. Thanks for watching! - J
The way I make my smoothies they have to pass the DQ flip test.
Thiiiiiick. - J
Don't get stuck in an escape room with this guy.
How so ? 🤔
Truck drivers seems like a good audience we need to eat and drink better I thank the makers of this advention😂!!
Great point! Thanks for watching! - J
And how about charging before use
Yes that would be recommended. - J
Exact reason why I’m here. 🤣 issues with first operation
Lol. Hope we helped! - J
@@TheAverageKitchen you did… but I’m still struggling with it because I’m in car and didn’t put enough water either. I’m on like take 43 also 🤣
Haha well good luck! - J
I'll just stick with my regular Ninja blender. I don't really see a use for that one.
Fair enough! Thanks for watching! - J
You're supposed to put the liquid in first...
Lesson learned. Marc
SHAKE IT. I even shake my Nutribullet. It works. Even Nutribullets get stuck.
Good tip! - J
Target audience: working people.
👍🏼
"well that tastes like pineapple, strawberry and water"
Touché !
I don't have this blender, but I use the crushed ice that comes out of the freezer door as a "Pre game"...
Also, like 1/8th teaspoon or maybe less of xanthan gum will get that smooth Jamba/frappe consistency... Small bag goes a very long way
Great tips! - J
I luv mine 😊
👍🏼👍🏼
Ninja recommends liquid first
🤙🏼🤙🏼
It’s made for flight crew or people who travel a lot.
👍🏼👍🏼
so i have to drink this with the cup attached to the blender? why don’t they give a bottom ????
Great question,…But we didn’t design or manufacture it lol
mine destroys ice.
Nice! - J
Just a suggestion - minimal liquid level is a clue 😂😂
We learned that. 🕵🏻
It also says to charge it straight out of the box for 2 hour beforenuse🤦🏽♂️
👍
Someone who doesn’t have a kitchen 😅 like me 😂
Lol fair enough! - J
£73.50 = $125 CAD, That's hella expensive, I paid £49 for mine.
Yup for sure, but that’s last year. Ninja seems to come out of the gate really expensive, then start reducing the price. Marc
The Nutribullet 600 is 74 decibels.Ninja nutri pro iq 1000 watts is 77 decibels.
Fair enough! - J
You're supposed to put a little liquid in there with the ice.
Thanks! - J
Yh i can take it to work buy frozen strawberries and make milkshakes xD
🤷🏻
That’s expensive for a travel blender. I’d be afraid of leaking.
Me too ! Thanks for watching. Marc
@@TheAverageKitchen I’d wonder how it would hold if it a light drop to the floor would happen?
Maybe I should shoot a follow up destruction video !
12 oz is 3/4#
3/4#?
read instructions, in the manual said add water. duhh.. LOL!
Thanks for watching !
Dude I want to believe you must use pallet size ice for this devise. Just saying!!!!!!

CAN YOU LEAVE IT PLUGGED IN
I suppose so, the same way you *could* leave a phone plugged in. You can, but probably wouldn't. - J
i don’t care about it being portable i just wanted a good single blender
🤙
whats that mean???
Like a hang 10, thumbs up kind of thing. - J
Can't hear how loud the blender is because it's fast forwarded. Every time. Only reason I clicked was to hear the noise.
It's loud. - J
Target audience vegans who like taking protein or meal powder to work 😅 I might buy this
Fair enough! Link is in the description! - J
Barely could blend protein powder with water. I feel like this was a big waste of money.
That was your experience? - J
Ninja actually told me I should try shaking the blender while blending. I get better results using a shaker cup.
Its a portable magic bullet for fruit smoothies. Use a voltrx for just protein mixing.
It's designed for people who drink protein shakes, that's where the target audience is
You might be right! - J
For people who want a smoothie at the workplace during their lunch break.
Read directions first mate
👍🏼
my Blendjet2 is better... I had pre-ordered the Ninja Blast but because of the high demands they (Ninjakitchen) canceled my order but told me I can try to order it again later and provided me 30% for my next purchase. Anywaysss!!
Yikes lol. Well...I guess 30% is something? I wouldn't be overly happy with that though. Thanks for watching! - J
7:59 To drink a smoothie without the motor base attached, you can turn the Ninja Blaster upside down and screw on the underneath cover cap. 😋
👍🏼👍🏼
I’m not falling for it. I already have a Oster blender. 😑
Falling for what? - J
@@TheAverageKitchen Ninja Blast.
Ok? Did you think we were trying to trick you into it or something? - J
