- A very busy Saturday at East Midlands Airport in Castle Donington with a mixture of passenger, cargo, training flights and charter flights.
We see a special football charter flight operated by an Eastern Airways Embraer E170 aircraft carrying the Newcastle United Football Club players to play against Nottingham Forest for an evening match.
We will also see a Jet Provost land on runway 09 which is owned by EMA, a new SunExpress Boeing 737-800 parked up at the Mid Stay car park 1 and then we see the arrival of a classic DHL Airbus A300, the morning flights had runway 27 ops and the afternoon flights had runway 09 ops, great to see both runways in use.
