- There are a lot of crummy cheap Switch controllers out there from companies you've never heard of; so much so that it's difficult to actually find one that's any good. Sure they may miss out the odd feature or two - and some people might be happy with that - but 9 times out of 10 the build quality is utterly shocking and it's so horrid to use that you've effectively paid 25 quid for a carpal tunnel-inducing fidget box!
I decided to give one of them a chance: EasySMX's Bayard 9124. It's cheap, it's missing NFC, and it's by a company that I've never heard of until now. It's a PERFECT test to see if this is more of the same...
...except I actually liked it! It boasts a number of features you won't find on an official controller, and it's rocking an Xbox controller-style layout so it's actually comfortable to use. Watch on to see how I came to my conclusion!

Great review mate. I've actually been thinking about getting a 3rd party controller for a while and this looks like it fits the bill. I was wondering though what's the connection like to the switch without the adapter? Does it dsnyc a lot? As I'm having issues with my oled dropping connection or lagging when playing over the switches Bluetooth
Cheers man! It doesn't need the adapter on the Switch, though I haven't tried (it could work? I'll check). I've not encountered any poor connections with it over Bluetooth and it seems to have more or less the same range as the pro controller.
Just tried the RF adapter on the Switch dock. The led on it doesn't flash so I guess it's not designed for that. I've not had Bluetooth issues with it though, even with my own oled.
