Ads like these are more about creating a positive emotion and then pairing that positive emotion with the brand. When successful, it generates something called "affect transfer" where the positive emotion toward the ad is transferred to the brand. In other words, we like the ad and (without thinking about it), we feel better toward the brand as well. (Just take a look at the other comments on this ad and you'll see how well this works.)
