When I picture Fascism’s endgame, I see one man left standing with no one to hate but himself.
“I am no one, therefore I am loved by no one. And so I decided to end myself, but even if we want to end ourselves we can’t. So we ended the others, for in them we found reflections of ourselves. It didn’t work. In the end the only one left was the one we wished to be rid of…”

Bibi is seriously prepared to burn the world before he goes to prison.
Something something rather burn the world to be the king of ashes
Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

@@markantony9038 Some men can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with.....
I'm unsure what exactly they expect to accomplish here, considering they still haven't actually beaten Hamas in Gaza, and the last time they invaded Lebanon it didn't go well. And that was BEFORE Hezbollah became an actually decently modernized military force.
Grab as much land as they can, as long as the US is still powerful enough to keep the international community of their back.
Hamas will never be beaten because their leadership is safe in Qatar.
Bibi just needs to keep another conflict going to avoid getting ousted. He knows the moment the fighting stops, the Israeli people will give him the boot.
They want to create a buffer zone so Hezbollah can’t bombard northern israel. Though i doubt the feasibility here.
Israel is a warlord state.. Their government wants to keep power and funding perpetual while always at war and victimization.
Netanyahu refuses to have an election because there is war and if there was an election he would have an EMBARRASSING loss. So if he keeps war he can keep tyranny over Palestine and Israel
I never cease to be amazed at how evil the IDF is
The evil part isnt especially amazing. Its actually pretty standard on the "how evil can we be" scale. What I am more shocked about is the stupidity. I get that the overlord is doing this to remain in power, but the potential fallout of this mess is far beyond what the IDF can handle. They know this, so what is their plan? Are they banking on a major conflict that forces the US to intervene? Its perplexing.

They're a good wedge, and a way for us to have a strong geopolitical presence without needing a sustained military campaign.

We are becoming an explanation for the Fermi paradox day by day.
Its depressing, but maybe every advanced civilisation gets filtered out of existence because they just can't stop selfdestructing.
Yes this is probably a big filter at least for intelligent life evolved from predatory fauna.
I've thought this for a while. Technological advancement out paces intellectual advancement across the entire species...
The great filter is on my mind quite frequently.
Is it climate change, micro plastics, war, a combination of all of the above?
It's depressing, I wanted our future to be TNG, but realistically? If we even make it to the stars, we're going to be space orcs.
This would heavily depend on the species. A hive mind-like species would probably struggle less with self destruction.
You should also keep in mind that very few people are actually behind most of the political instability and problems in this world.
And no, it's not the jews, Rothschilds or whatever, but rather people in positions of power that want even more. Corpos that would benefit from a certain development (fossil fuel and no renewables), people like Mark Zuckerberg wanting more polarizing content for profit, Netanyahu trying to hold on to power using war.
