That’s probably where you got the mercury. I was in that exact same spot a few weeks ago while it was flooding and got into the mercury myself. I took a few pictures and plan on going back since I know exactly where the low pressure zones are now.
The "water V" in the entrance of the sluice should always be symmetrical. This is sometimes difficult to do. It was still a good prospecting with some gold ⚒👍🤠🍻
