Something I love about these style videos is that a lot of people likely make mistakes against you due to anti-reads. Since you're trying to highlight some infrequently/hardly used 'mons you're more likely to stay in and try to pull something fun off where your opponent would likely be expecting more switching.
I have never bothered trying to use it, I thought you needed to eat a berry for each PP you wanted to use.... guess eating the berry just unlocks the move.

I've done this strategy multiple times with great results for a few months when the game was still semi fresh. Glad someone else other than me is finally giving this grumpig strat some love. Grumpig is one of my all time favorite psychic types!

I have a similar build with the same idea but using Swalot. Ability: sticky hold / item: Ganlon berry Moves: Belch, Body bodypress, stuff cheeks, and pain split. Haven’t put it into action but stuff cheeks is an interesting move.

I found a shiny lellow piggo as well, if I bring it to double battles and use Flatter on it with its partner mon, it avoids the confusion with own tempo and hits pretty hard tbh 😅 not GOOD of course, but definitely better than I thought.
Great stuff, the last time I tried to use grumpig was with a belch set back in USUM and even though it says bech is 90% accurate it missed like it was hurricane or focus blast for me. Glad to see it pop off in gen 9.
I love mono type runs, but I like theme runs more. I have aspirations to do a “farmer” playthrough, with Grumpig, Tauros, Miltank, you get the idea. Hopefully there will be some overalls in the cloth options 😈

I am doing a tera electric special dragonite. It has pretty decent special attack. It has Hurricane, Thunder, Dragon Pulse and Surf. Best used with a pokemon with Drizzle ability.
It does not. It is not a sound move unfortunately. I thought about using it on toxtricity to have a STAB belch and boosted by its ability but not sound based :(

Swalot also gets the Gluttony/Belch combo. It also gets Stuff Cheeks and Body Press, which is fun with Ganlon Berry. It doesn't work, but it's fun.
Grumpig is a really good Pokemon. I have plans with a new playthrough on my team using Spoink the first time.
