    Right now, I'm hoping to take Greyhound to get to a city to board an Amtrak train. But last time I took Greyhound, I decided to ship myself by UPS next time.

    I've never ridden a Greyhound bus in my life and I have absolutely no intention of ever doing so but I'm oddly captivated by your channel. Your voice is calming and you have excellent storytelling ability. I found your channel by clicking on a thumbnail that popped up to the right of a train video I viewed and hours later I'm still here watching Greyhound videos. Happy travels!

      I willingly took a Greyhound twice in my life as a teenager. And swore I'd never do it again. I did it again in my 20's and almost just got left behind on purpose so I could figure out the next 500 hours on my own.
      There is nothing fcking worse. It is straight Zionist evil. Take your chances hitch-hiking or take a month walking if you can. These days I would get off at the first short stop. Greyhound should not exist...

    There was a fad back in the 60s and 70s with people literally mailing themselves to wherever they wanted to go. Sadly it didn't last long, due to some well-publicized tragedies that occurred. But it was probably safer than hanging out in a Greyhound bus station for 18 hours.

    When i was drafted into the Army, i boarded a bus in Mojave California with a bunch of other guys and started south for Los Angeles. About a mile out of town the bus stopped at the railroad crossing, and when it started to go again it quit running, leaving us right on the tracks. Luckily for us there was another bus load of draftees behind us who pushed us and got us going again. Every time the driver stopped, the same thing happened again.

    i was on the bus once, and i was dying of thirst, these young kids 4 or 5 were playing with water bottles, and one of the bottles fell under the seat, i put my foot on the bottle, and the kid tried to get the bottle, and i stepped on it harder, finally I got the water. ahhh sweet victory..

    On my way from Toledo Ohio to Cleveland the door fell off the bus on a dark freeway and the driver slammed on the brakes. I watched as her and 4 other passengers attempted to duck tape it back. This resulted in yet another bus transfer / layover. This was one of my first Greyhound experiences.

    Love the video man! I had to laugh at what you said about literally running to McDonald's and back. Dallas sounds mad shady at night around there. I traveled to Houston by greyhound and the night life around the station is mad shady too! I know every trip can't be good. I use Uber and lyft and not all of trips are nice with those either. It is what it is right?! I am glad you finally got to your destination safely. Keep the cool videos coming! Best, Marvin 😀

    Great stuff Tim! we are a couple from South Asia travelling states 1st time this April. I am planning to use Grayhound bus from Miami to New York and return. Your video's helped a lot. We decided to take the bus since we can see the country more. Any advise we could make sure we get seats next to each other. Otherwise the whole trip would be really uncomfortable Thanks heaps. Keep up the good work. Such a service you are doing. .

    • @fundyourlifestyle
      @fundyourlifestyle  7 років тому +3

      The only advice I can give for sitting next to each other is to get in line early and hopefully you will be able to get on the bus early enough to get two seats next to each other. Though I will be honest this will be hard to do for the whole trip. One of the downsides of riding Greyhound is no assigned seats. Sometimes you can ask fellow passengers and they will move and let you sit by your companion. Sometimes, and other times they won't. Hope you have a great trip!

    My family and I had a horrible trip on Grey Hound as well an 18 hr ride ti Orlando turned into 24 hrs of fear. Our bus kept shutting off as the driver tried to keep control of the bus and once we finally made it to next connection, the entire bus got off thinking we would get new bus never happened and the horror continued all the way into Orlando. Many people on our bus missed their connections and needless to say were extremely pissed off. Grey hound needs to do better when it comes to customer service...

    • @fundyourlifestyle

      You can call and ask for reimbursement but from what I've heard it's usually pointless and if you do get some form of refund it usually it's worth the time, effort, and the number of phone calls it takes to get it.

    I took Graham from New York actually from Monticello New York. I took whatever bus that was I was staying in MONTICELLO, and my aunts house and then and then I was gonna lose the bus bus I guess in New York, New Jersey and stuff like that and then took it down to the city to whatever terminal that they get dropped off at you know to switch buses. I don’t know what it’s called. It’s big huge so I connected with the Grayhound bass over there was a pretty good trip though. I didn’t have any big problems so then I went to the Greyhound the Greyhound was gonna take me to Nevada I think I went to Reno. I think it stopped in Reno or Carson City or something like that so so I took like a four or five day trip on the Ground around the clock 24 hour 2424 seven was pretty good trip specially when we got to stop at the at these little restaurants for food, sometimes it was subway and then a few times it was I think once or twice stopped at McDonald’s. I was never I was never so happy to see a McDonald’s. You could actually get a cuppa coffee. That was the best coffee ever had. I’ve been on the bus for like a week without drinking coffee, wow this is the best coffee ever and and and everybody on the bus was happy Ebony Jones you know since get a good cup of coffee I think we Mexico or Wyomi Wyomi pretty nice some areas really dead over there really open and dead. I think that’s what let me talk to us, thank God for McDonald’s then when the bus stopped in Wyoming, I think I think it was Wyoming or New Mexico. We we got Greyhound Bus and so I guess he didn’t have another bus to take us away so they put us on a train Amtrak train to the Amtrak train Mass horror and then all the way to Carson City or something like that I was supposed to get off the bus. Amtrak was really nice seat were comfortable easy to go to the bathroom that sinks and sinks in the bathroom and stuff like that. It was great doing a good job on the videos.

      I use National Express a fair amount to travel from London to Leeds, a couple of hundred miles. It usually takes about four and a half hours. There can be problems on the M1 but I'm usually quite chilled about it. The fare is maybe about a third of the train fare, but if you're not in a rush, I usually find it's quite decent. 13 hours for 275 miles though does not sound good!
