Since they no longer care about Anakin "Vader" and Luke Skywalker than people like Star Wars Theory and others that make these fan films shouldn't have any legal issues with these fan films. Let Anakin Skywalker, either as Anakin or Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker kinda be like free agents in a way. Since they are no longer important to the Disney Star Wars people then technically their contract with the Disney version of Star Wars expired and therefore making these fictional characters now free agents for Star Wars Theory and others.

to be fair, i was annoyed about the leia death until the end when ben’s body disappeared and then it showed hers disappearing as well. what i think happened is that leia reached out to him and transferred the last of her life force into him, which helped him turn back to the light
