    Poignant, Powerful, Positive, Perfect. A classic illustration of the power of words, the emotion they convey and the impact on the perception of others. Ultimately how words can move you through the energy and emotion they evoke... Beautiful... Great find..and a timely reminder of how the thoughts we keep and those we CAN choose impact our live and those all around us x

    After watching this, I almost feel ready to answer the age old question, "what is the meaning of life?" It's to help those around us connect to each other. And all it requires is that we 'see' life from a different perspective. It's like what Mr. Keeting did in 'Dead Poet's Society' when he had the boys stand on his desk and look around. Beautiful. Inspirational. A truly life changing moment to view this film.

    Really touching short film some times we take all the things we are blessed with for granted and don't think about the people who are not so fortunate as ourselves. This film also touch on the fact that sometimes actions can genarate more help for a person in need than just giving money.

    I'm not sure at all but there's a slight chance it might be Jacques Prévert. one day he is walking with a friend and sees this blind man and decides to chang it so he writes: "in a few days the spring will come around but I can't see it"

  • @RachelEMacD
    @RachelEMacD 10 років тому

    Yes, it makes a good point, and yet, why is someone not helping this guy do something satisfying and meaningful to make his living. Just because he can't see doesn't mean he can't do more than sitting out in the square having change thrown at him. Boticelli the great opera singer is blind! Beethoven was deaf. I have 3 friends who are blind, and they all do amazing creative work because it's what they dedicate their lives and efforts to. Their families and loved ones, and the government do what they can to help them have as many advantages as a sighted person. Someone should do that for this man. Give him some hope. Maybe he likes begging, but maybe he would be happier and have a better life if he could do other things that he wants to and have enough money to live on as well!!!

    It's a shame that the writer and the director of this short movie has not siad that it is not his original story! I read about this story in a book years ago and so unfortunately I don't remember neither the name of the book nor the name of the protagonist of this story which was a famous contemporary French poet!

    Katzupp, I thought that it would be interesting to give my simple opinion on your film. I am also a film maker and found your movie to be interesting and beautiful. The original music brought something special to the movie. I though the photography was well done and the quality of the image was captivating. But on the secondhand, I felt there were too many unexplained angles that made the movie seem overcharged and less professional. Remember less is more! Great movie & pls contiune making films

    This is actually one of those chain email stories that has been going around for ages. I haven't received it in English, only in Spanish.
    It was nicely depicted though. Didn't care much about the music, it was kind of annoying.

    Excellent Video! I really enjoyed it. If you're interested in these subjects you may also like the work being done by BEWARE OF IMAGES. It's a feature-length, animated documentary about the history of visual representation. The movie explores the intricate relationship between the technology, regulation and social effects of mass media. Its aim is to serve as an educational and entertaining media literacy tool that can be enjoyed by everyone.
