Let’s talk about how to get rid of phlegm in your lungs.
Common treatments for phlegm or mucus either suppress or pull mucus out. Anytime you suppress mucus, you may end up having the infection longer and weaken your immune system. Typical treatments also come with potential side effects.
Keep in mind that it’s important to exercise your lungs if you're dealing with phlegm. You can do this by alternating breathing through your nose using your chest and breathing through your nose using your stomach.
Radishes are one of the best foods to get rid of phlegm-if you can, try adding them to your diet.
Here is the best natural remedy for phlegm in the lungs.
    Ingredients:
    1 tbsp. onion juice
1 tbsp. honey (Manuka honey if possible)
    2 tbsp. lemon juice
    Water
    Optional ingredients:
    1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
    Ginger
Add all of the ingredients to a cup of water and drink the mixture three times a day.

Dr Berg, unrelated but a request for a video. Would you consider doing a video(s) with a detailed interpretation of Labcorp vs Quest advanced lipid profile tests? I have watched videos by other producers but certain data markers are glossed over because it is obvious to them (but not to me). I cannot understand where once LDL size is identified what data marker it actually refers to. LDL-P? Is small LDL-P same as small dense LPD cholesterol? If small LDL-P is above the range, does that override everything all the other good numbers?

..... consider to RINSE your teeth (w/ water and a wee bit of baking soda) after drinking such a potion or you risk slowely dissolving the enamel of your teeth.
Another effective (adjunct) is to chew small pieces of ginger root ( or simply 1/2 tsp. added) finely ground ginger to the lemon/honey/water mixture. Use REAL lemons, as the heat processing of bottled lemon juice results in less Vitamin C.

I need to tell you how much your channel has saved me. Im a singer, it's how I de-stress. I found myself unable to sing because my voice was extremely hoarse and I had this constant phlegm build up in my throat. For 2 years I went to the doctor and they prescribed me nose spray after nose spray, even when I told them the problem was in my throat.
In the UK right now, you have to wait a year and a half to see an ENT specialist. That would have taken it to 3.5 years unable to sing or perform and I was getting really depressed about it.
Then I found this video...and your salt video...and your LPR Video. Those videos inspired me to read studies on LPR and understand what was happening in my own body. Its also lead me onto solving other problems i've been too worried about going to the doctor about incase it took years to solve.
I went back to my Doctor fully educated with what LPR was and how I knew I was suffering with it. That was 3 weeks ago and i'm already performing live again!!
Thankyou Dr Eric Berg with all my heart!!!

@@carmengutierrez6258 Ahh man mines coming back again because the pills are awful 🤢 Its similar to Acid reflux except I didn't feel the pain in my stomach at all. The acid comes up your pipe (usually whilst you sleep) and irritates the vocal cords and your throat, making it produce phlegm. I also thought it was asthma because when I was breathing it would rattle between my throat and chest and I would wheeze. It completely went away when I stopped eating after 8pm and started Omperazole but the side effects were awful for me. Now im trying to control it with diet. I hope this helps and you get onto of it ✌

There are two things that clear my Phlegm better than anything else. First, 15 - 20 minutes of exercise with intense breathing. That does wonders. Second, singing or speaking loudly. I know that might sound crazy but when I make voice narrations from work after an hour of speaking loudly my phlegm is almost totally cleared.
For me, the worst is when I sit around and don't speak. I could have phlegm all day in that case

One thing to be careful of is that a lot of honey being sold as honey in stores is not actually real honey or it's heavily adulterated. Some of it is just corn syrup. There are loads of companies selling supposed honey but it's just basically sugar syrup flavored to taste like honey with a little bit of real honey thrown in, so be on guard when u buy it and make sure it's genuine 100% honey and not fake or a watered-down version. It's more common than you realize.

My grandmother uses to eat onions like they were apples. Her and my grandfather were farmers. She never had allergies, never had phlegm. While I can only handle onions in moderation, i have an all new respect for them. Will have to cook them to add more to my diet.

@morespinach9832 she didn't care. She ate them all. I remember her eating white onions a lot. She loved purple, too. True story. My uncle took her out for pizza. The owner went table to table thanking customers. He saw a cool whip container that had an onion in it. Yes, she took her onions to restaurants. BTW, she defeated full-blown cancer in her later years of life.

I was a respiratory therapist on the night shift for 27 years. Patients would be given a suppressant at bedtime for sleep. As it wore off the beepers would go off requesting a breathing treatment- an expectorant. We would try to kindly educate because they expected it to stop the coughing so the patients can sleep when in actuality it had the opposite effect. If you tried to educate a nurse they would accuse you of not wanting to do your job! BTW Dr Berg my father swore by his onion sandwiches (with a little mustard) in the winter boasting they were the reason he only took 5 sick days in over 30 years. I would joke with him that his breath kept sick people at a distance!
