@Dimension37 they most likely can. Their losses are lower than Ukraine's losses. Ukraine relies entirely on outside support, as soon as any of it starts to fade, they have nothing domestic to make up for it. Every Russian advance gets into territory that has fewer prepared defences, making future advances that much easier. And the replacement soldiers that Ukraine is currently "recruiting" are civilians captured off the streets and forced to the front with minimal training, not likely going to be the best at fighting, or even willing to fight.

Zelensky should be careful about disrespecting and insulting China, they can easily lend Russia 2 million troops. From what I understand China can field upwards of 200 000 million if need be, so 2 million is a drop in the bucket for them. Besides, a little experience could go a long way for Chinese troops given the state of things with the US. So, as I said, Zelensky should be very careful because I also hear that the Chinese officials and Xi are angered by Zelensky's outright refusal of their peace plan and/or initiative. That is not the wasp hive that Zelensky wants to poke with a short stick.
China could take care of this little border dispute.

Point in fact and as I see it, Russia is the muscle for BRICS, like the US is the muscle for the collective west. Except Russia is honest and doesn't extort other nations. Some might find being the "muscle" and not and extortionist a contradiction, but it isn't. Just because there are consequences for actions doesn't mean you are forced to make those decisions. And just because, I see Russia as the "muscle" for BRICS and the Global South in General as they are the ones that must provide security agreements for BRICS to work and the Global South to be free of dept slavery to the Global North, doesn't mean that the other nations don't have to do their part and carry their share. Finally, yes, China is a mighty force in military matters but they have little experience besides fighting themselves and fighting the Japanese invasion almost a hundred years ago. Russia, on the other hand, has plenty of experience and as of today, plenty of modern experience. No, I don't think the Russians would owe China anything if China became and active ally in the war because China has already been paid by Russia in the respect of it's current standing in the world, that without Russia, would be next to impossible for them and they would likely already be at war with the US if Russia didn't exist in it's current form. Russia and China are good and natural partners, all things considered. So they should be, it's their neighbourhood and they own the most of it. With such a large neighbourhood and so many people it's only natural to work together for security against outside threats and to help each other maintain sovereignty over their part. You know, "love your neighbour as yourself".
