Where I work, we used to not have any deductible or pay anything. Once Obamacare came about that changed it and now, we pay up front a big amount and copays on everything. It's all a big scam and a great benefit was taken away.

I work Security at a hospital and it’s disgusting how many people leach off the system. People come into the ER for headaches, a place to sleep, I literally saw someone who came in and said,” I have a hang nail” because he knew we could not turn him away.

@richiemac2395 You don't know what is going on with that person's life. You may one day find yourself homeless as a result of sudden tragedy. These individuals had a job at some point in there life and the system keeps them handicap should they make a certain amount to be homeless again. Jesus commands us to have compassion for anyone in need.

I haven’t had health insurance in four years after being terminated for not getting the jab at the hospital-based out-patient PT clinic. My new job’s benefits are horrible with $5,000 deductible. I have chosen not to participate. I am a healthy person. I did take out “accident insurance” only.

The Sarmatian Ministries don't pay your medical bills until you have paid at least $1,000.00 into the share pot first. Then, the organization pays for it but you have to keep paying into it each month about $500 a month. That's what I was told.

Peggy when U spoke of Ur Mother it rang a bell w/me. Ex NYC ER RN here of over 23 yrs terminated b/c I wouldn’t submit2 the mandated culling I definitely relate 2 the visits 2 the ER 4 what felt were extremely unnecessary, e.g. pregnancy tests b/c it’s perceived 2 B free. Those among other unnecessary ER visits really bugged me b/c they were a huge waste of time & resources. I would never show it & treated everyone w/dignity but it bugged me. I currently must make a decision 2 pay 4 health coverage I don’t need. Like U I would rather pay out of pocket should the need arise. Thx so much 4 covering this issue. 💖💎💖💎💖💎💖💎💖

I have had good experiences with a sharing healthcare but now the premiums keep rising, almost $600.00 per month. I had to drop down to the silver level. Now the deductible is $2500.00. It is getting too expensive for cost sharing too.

I did belong to a Christian health sharing program. I had to go to an urgent care, paid out of pocket. I then filed for reimbursement & it was like pulling teeth. Never got reimbursed I left that
program. I went on a Cali program till I moved. On nothing now. Medicare in a year. I hear that can be problematic at times too. IDK. Thanks for the info 😊

I’ve been in “healthcare” for over 30 years & currently work for one of the largest healthcare systems in a tri-state area. My premium for employee plus spouse is $700 a month with a $2500 deductible, but that’s only if I use my employers facilities. If it’s an outside facility then my out of pocket is more. We NEVER use it, thankfully. Yes, the ACA absolutely screwed us. That is when it all changed & went downhill from there.

Peggy...Once you go on forced Medicare you typically have to carry a secondary insurance to pickup the 20% left unpaid portions. Those plans are expensive & increase every 6-12 months. Before we had Medicare our primary coverage was with a Christian organization called MediShare. Once we had to go on Medicare we were pleasantly informed they now offered MediShare 65+ @ only $99 month no increase till age 70 & then it's still only $125 forever

Look into an "advantage plan" if you're on medicare. They all offer $ zero monthly premium plan options. Why pay extra money for a supplemental plan unless you absolutely have to. Medicare's monthy cost is too expensive now as it is.

    • @eternalhellfortyrants8561
      @eternalhellfortyrants8561 2 години тому

Look into an "advantage plan" for your secondary insurance. All companies still offer $zero dollar monthly premium plan options. Medicare is expensive enough - it takes a big chunk out of those receiving small monthly SS checks.

Are the Christian ministries insurance organizations capable of paying for something outrageously expensive, like spinal surgery with nerve involvement? No one ever expects injuries like that. Most neurosurgeons will not accept Medicare either.

Ant not a fan of hospitals. Nurses and Doctors have zero respect for their "clients". Aren't they? Clients I mean? Not a customer. A paying Client. The hospitals and staff take if for granted and treat Clients like freeloading beggars.

Some of the Christian sharing program such as Samaritan is great (I have a different Christian Sharing), but until you meet the yearly deductible under your plan, you won't be covered. They wouldn't cover my urgent care visit, plus two visits to the specialist afterwards because I didn't meet the deductible.
    There are pros and cons.
Some may not have a choice but to go on Medicare/Medicaid....to cover their medical costs that Christian Sharing won't cover.
Also, I'm trying find a way to have a religious exemption/affidavit for those who may have a loved one go to a rehab facility whether it's temporary or permanent. I tried contacting for united solutions, but they're not listening. I'm going through multiple burnouts, caregiver burnout, and I'm so done and unsure what to do?

Health Sharing is good to a point. Again, I don't have Samaritan, I have Medishare. But with the increase in their premiums and their deductibles. Also, not every place will accept sharing networks, as not everyone will be able to do this. It's a question of one's time, $$, & resources. Also, for the religious exemption/affidavit for a rehab facility, basically I'm not getting anywhere as usual. While going through caregiver burnout & other burnouts. Since, I have no idea what to do and with no real support. So why bother trying in this life? Thanks a lot. What may work for one, may not work for another.
