single-handed SMD positioning is very impressive !

Man, this is the DevKit board of my dreams. A fuel gauge is what we need for proper battery operation.

That is a slick board. We need a drop in programmer for those pads, maybe a carrier BGA for more permanant dev

*Reminded how annoying placing SMT components is without a pick and place robot*

Are you thinking about making a programmer/breakout board with pogo pins available?

I have a USB board that can be soldered directly to it (pads on pads) or via wires, and that board also takes small pogo pins for that programming header. A full pogo breakout doesn’t make sense though. I’ll also have a carrier board reference design available.

Cool! How do you anticipate making connections to the contacts for peripherals, battery power and programming? Pogo pins or direct soldering or something else?

Surface mounted to a carrier board if use as a module, or soldered wires to the pads if used without a carrier.

What's that rotating assembly/parts bin thing you're using? 3D printed? Looks very cool. I'd like to print one :)

and that is why they invented robots, nice music, title should be "UMG! ", trying not to sneeze ? What does the board do ? 7:00 a don't drop it moment
was guessing it was an esp chip, big foot print and no place for a separate wifi chip

Final frame of the video lists board details, but yes, ESP32-S3.

Yup - They are HUGE :)

@@UnexpectedMaker I've just assembled my first project using 0402's (a drop-in replacement for a classic TMS9918A VDP using an RP2040). You make it look much easier than I found it to be :D
