That's about the best thing you can do with a bottle of coke. I use to use it to degrease a metal surface before I would prime it. Never drink it, it's poison. Great video. Thanks for the share. Subscribing.

Have you tried it with the tube sticking out the front instead of the back. It will allow the elastic to rebound a little bit further also if you cut the tube a little bit longer you could add a sight aid. 🙂

Re vampire uprising; be no harm is use a little sliver on the tip of the arrow. Otherwise you'll have to hit the heart every time.

I could see this being made with a couple of small hand tools (one of those little survival saws, some boring tools with a handle, rubber tubing and string).
Love it. It's a work of art made with great skill. And it 100% functional. Reminds me of Paleolithic Craftsmen with their stone working and wood working skills.
Except for the fact that Paleolithic craftsman did not have a drill,forstenor bit, super glue, high strength hollow rubber hose,,,and lest we forget.....UA-cam.

To all posters going on about using glue and a drill and rubber: You’re supposed to have all that material(super glue, rubber tubing, duct tape, 550 cord,etc) in your backpack when you go out into the wilderness. Oh, and a vice, plus a drill or a drill press.
How about Bladden-Powell's general order for the Boy Scouts, "Be Prepared." The Marines say the same thing except on steroids.
I would assemble it before I went into the wilderness.
Probably in my garage, where I keep my table vise and drill.

I miss the bamboo that was growing in my backyard so much I was pretty lucky with that though we had comquots low quats bamboo avocados current grapes the kind you see on the Welch's bottle baby grapes the size of your pinky nail you can just take the whole thing put it in your mouth and pull out nothing if you got locked outside before mom got home there was lunch she would always wonder why we never complain LOL

It’s not a survival sling shot if you’re using rubber. You can’t get rubber sling in the woods. Looks good though

If You buy a survival knife, do You think it will be made by People Who live in the woods?
If you were in the bush you wouldn't have a drill, you might not have access to bamboo super glue or any of the other materials needed to manufacture this 'slingshot'. Better to have a reliable 22 caliber survival rifle- three pieces- barrel, stock- magazine

Being able to hunt for food or to defend yourself quietly is key, of course a gun has its place but stealth can keep you alive longer,if you think a gun is the only thing you need well good luck with that when you are out of ammo. You will be wishing you knew how to build another weapon that doesn't require a bullet
