For more info please visit my website: WWW.FUJARAFLUTES.COM I am Winne Clement a musician/instrumentmaker and here is my very first attempt at vlogging, hopefully more will follow soon!
I've been binge watching this channel ever since I remembered being inspired by your fujara piece in the church. I love the "thank you" and appreciative touch of the tree when you cleaned the cut up. Thanks for all that you do, humans like you make me happy to still be on this planet.
This was wonderful. Great view on the bike ride and a truly awesome shop! Life silver standard horizontal flute player but am branching out and love your flutes and videos. Thanks so much! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🎶🎶🎶🎶🕊
In south America a very famous musician named Atahualpa Yupanki said that the wood for making instruments has the sound of thousands of birds that sang while resting on that branch or tree, and when made in to an instrument that music comes out.
"I want to go check that out" Next scene shows you riding a bicycle. I approve, and forget that Europeans don't think twice about riding a bike to go somewhere.
Thank you so much for sharing all these videos that inspire me to maybe also explain my passion for all the instruments I play and for which I compose. I can't wait to receive the 2 flutes you made for me, they will definitely inspire me. Thank you for sharing your passion as a musician and instrument maker and especially as a human being.
What makes a vlog interesting is the day to day kind of living...thank you for showing us the terrible road hahahaha and how these wonderful flutes came to be
Well done, Winne! For the panoramic movement, it is always too fast and make the spectator a little dizzy and motion sick. Think you are viewing the sequence, while filming, and slow a little down the turn speed. The sound is perfect, perhaps you put some wind shield to avoid the noise of wind, etc. Sometimes we don't know if we are filming or on a pause record, and we see our feet later... That must be cut off later. A LED head lamp would help for darker scenes, and can be recharged quickly. The frame is also very important, think also framing with another thing (an arch, a window, etc.). Congratulations!
Thanks for the vlog ! In the future, can you upload more tutorials on 5 holes caval plecase? I got one recently, but it is very gard to learn when dont have to learn from. Thank You !
some how I came across "birth of a flute" a while ago (r/artisan maybe?). I subscribed because I found the giant instruments fascinating. I'm glad I did and I'm looking forward to seeing you make! Good job on the first video.
Please tell the story about your studies with the slowak fujaramaker master. And please show us the (bicycle?)tunnel where you play for the sound samples. Thanks!
I never recorded in a bicycle tunnel? What video are you talking about? I usually record in a chapel for good sound. Ok well thanks for the suggestion but I don't know if people would be bored to watch me tell a story :-) you know what? If this comment reaches 50 likes Ill make an episode like that, ok?
Can you make a very detailed video on how to make a kaval .I am Romanian and I want to make a kaval as the old shepards did. I love this instrument but i can't afford the money to buy one so I want to make one. Love your vids.
hah, my first attempt at editing ever but I must admit I have watched and wasted so much time in my life watching movies that I have a pretty good idea of what I want now ;-)
Hi pavle, maybe I will do that one day but for now I am planning to make a tuturial on how to make a cheap and easy fujara from pvc, for people that don't have a budget or that are waiting for an instrument but want to get started :-)
