Hello, I have a question, the two wire behind the switch it need cut and only receive the wires from de fog lights installation or just cut a little add the wires from the fog lights together and leave the original wires too, and the gray wire where gonna be connected or from where, thanks, because the image diagram is a little blurred
Thanks for posting ,my 2009 f150 didn't come with fog lights either.I do not have $$$ to replace the whole bumper,Can you recommend how to add some lights without replacing bumper? Thanks for sharing.
You could buy a headlight switch with the fog light option. just follow the wiring and you should be good. i would assume you could do this for a light bar
I know this video is a little old, but my XLT didn't come with fog lights, but previous owner added the bumper and fog lights but a horrible mess of wire and he ended up cutting the wires to the fog lights because they were draining the battery. So my question is isn't there a way to buy the OEM wiring harness and make it all OEM without having to do any modification?
Unfortunately, the fuse boxes had the fog light relays built in. You would have to replace the entire fuse box by the passengers foot area. The wires I tapped into behind the switch are grounds for the fog light switch. Would’ve thought it was easy for Ford to use one box for all the trucks. Not 100% if they something different for the 11+ models. Maybe the forums have more info.
Thanks for the video im doing the same thing to my xlt 2012 truck
Patrick Donahue no problem. The only thing I didn’t do was add another relay so the fogs would shut off when the low beams turn off.

Thank you, I want to do the same.
Could I not just hook up positive and negative from the fog lights to a switch that connects to the battery terminals?

@@prestigeworldwidemsu I have an 09 sadly, but thank you I might have to do it the way this video shows! Thank you for replying 😊
Whats color wire did you use on the oem switch to connect the wire from the kit youve bought?
Grey/violet - ground to the relay. brown/yellow - illumination from foglight + . Go to 3:00 in the video. Drawings are pretty blurry. My apologies
Do you think this will work on my 08?
