Saw Rob live in Vegas in 2014. Kind of an "Unplugged" set, with him talking about the songs before he performed them. He is one of the greatest vocalists I have ever seen live, and I have seen a TONS of bands perform live over many decades. IMO one the greatest writers/performers of Gen X, maybe the best!

OMG!!! This was an awesome interview. I have always been a huge fan of Rob Thomas and Matchbox Twenty. I could listen to him sing all day long and I could listen to him talk all day long too. He is my very favorite songwriter and musician. Huge Elvis fan too, but Elvis couldn't write music like Rob. I have every one of Rob and Matchbox Twenty's CDs, huge fan like Barbara). I love his music, but my favorite is still the first CD, "Yourself or Someone Like You". It got me through a difficult time, and I love the CD as a whole, love the honesty and the rawness. My favorite songs of his are, "If You're Gone" (especially hearing it in person) and "Long Day. I am so excited for this new CD, and I will probably buy the CD as well as the digital copy. Would love to hear more interviews with him. He said he could do that all day long so hold him to it. Please do another interview with him. Funny thing is I had a dream a couple of nights ago that I got to meet Rob and Matchbox Twenty in person. I was so excited that I was jumping up and down in my dream, and I woke up happy. Thank you for making my day with this interview. Next time please ask him to sing too.

My husband got a band
Good cop Bad cop for my 60th birthday..... would not have booked them if they would not do matchbox 20/ Rob Thomas so that learned back to good. That one best suited them .....but i love almost everything they do and Rob on his own. P.S i named my refrigerator Rob cause its sexy. 😂
Got tickets for concert at five points for may 28. So sorry i didn't get to see them in 2020 had Much better tickets then( 5 row). Could not pay the price they are selling for now.1100

You know what makes me so nice and happy I hope that they are still married him and his wife I hurt her come out with some things that have really hurt her and I've been dealing with a lot of stuff fibromyalgia it's something that people don't understand but it's a neurological thing and then she came out with something and I hope that they are still together I haven't just recently I mean like I know they were always together but I don't know exactly what's going on right now all of the songs that they played just made me so happy you know in my life and I hope that this I hope that his wife is doing better and just the fact that anyway matchbox matchbox 20 just gave me and my husband and my daughter and so much love and so starlight so thank you

I’m a fan. Did not care for the last album. This new one “Where the Light Goes” is amazing. Every song is good to great. Hope they stick together and make more new music sooner than the last to this one. Cuz this one for me is their best.
