I have ordered these for online gaming based on other reviews. Worried that others may have hyped them up a bit... Is there a set you would recommend for competitive game that have a clear soundspace for locating footsteps?

I do not consider metal build premium necessarily - do not like the feel of it. However, one can sit on all metal IEM, step on them if dropped, and maybe even run a car over. So, perhaps, there is an advantage to metal shells. All KZ look like they have pretty thick shell. It sits alright in my ear shape wise but sticks out. I don't mind v-shape FR and driver configuration has a good potential.

Actually it's funny you say that because a few days ago I lost my tripowin olina and It ended up In the driveway and had gotten run over by a Honda once one side broke but the other survived being run over by a car so I guess the rough survival Chance is 50% until someone else tests it 😂
I once dropped my KZ while in a kart race, they got dragged behind me for like 5-6 laps but the only damage was that the aluminium faceplate got scraped/sanded down. Still works fine
I'm still having fun with the AS16 Pro, what a sensational phone, great level of detail, very resolute. I don't know if there are any competitors in the range of up to 100 dollars.
@@VortexReviews1 I have the impedance adapter but I still prefer it without the adapter. I actually think that for some styles of music the adapter is useful, so I have two sound signatures in the same IEM.
How would these compare to the ZS6? I love those because of the exciting sound and the old ZS10 just sound flat and inoffensive in comparison. Are the ZS10 PRO X any better?

Are you familiar with the Piston 3 and would you recommend the KZ ZS10 Pro X? I listen to almost every genre of music (Metal, Hip Hop, Instrumental, Classical, some Electronic, etc...) but most of the time Metal. Thank you

I have ordered kz zs10 pro x recently, haven't received them yet from China, mean while I want to order from amazon UK memory foam earpuds as I'm a musician, I'm struggling to get information about the size diameter of widest part of the speaker to get the right size to buy SONICFOAM Memory Foam Earbud, would be possible if you can mesure them or provide me with the information please. Doesn't seem much of a difference compared to the original ZS10 pro. They were an ok set and you would think why would they bother with the x? Anyway, thanks for reviewing. 👍
The ZS10 Pro were sharper sounding than this. I would prefer this model over the older one and no BA in the nozzle either on this one. Cheers for watching.

It's been a month but if you really like bass I recommend QKZ x HBB but if that's not enough bass, the KZ ESX but at the cost of getting less treble. The KZ ZAX has less bass and more treble than both, still a good amount of bass and not sibilant with the treble but they're definitely not bassheads.
Dear vortex Is the zs10 pro x - has an electrical issue like the zs10 pro which not recommended to used in in pc / laptop, especially when in charging mode? - what about the high and treble while using in 1-2 hours? is that Sharp n quite spicy which make our ears easily hurt and fatigue? - compared to the hottest budget IEM like Chu or salnotes Zero, which one better? Sounds like an earth issue and a dongle adapter might solve that. I did not find the fatigue an issue. I prefer Zero over Chu and the TRN MT3 is another option.
You are not a professional reviewer. So many people are asking for comparisons. All you respond is you sold it long ago. If you have good hearing memory, you could remember even if you sold them or don't have them anymore. Or maybe you are just scared to leave definitive opinion on comment sections because you don't trust your own ears.

Not to sure but you ultimately want something with low bass. A lot of folks like the Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite for gaming

I'm still between those two or getting again thr gorgeous ZAS... It was little muddy due to much bass but was perfect for AZ09 (Pro) and Wavelet eq.
I would say the ZAS is the one I like the least out of those three.

Would you describe these as exciting? For instance a fast DD in the bass or good guitar strings. Perhaps a edgier Mele type of sound?
Sure they are exciting. I would say they sound a little "clearer" than the Mele and shouldn't have the moisture issue either.

I did not like the DQ6 and prefer the DQ6S. CRN is definitely leaner in the bass and more neutral.

They are a bit different but it depends if you want this sound signature or something more different?
What dap do you use ? I currently own a hiby R5 gen 2, the class A amp is excellent, I highly recommend this dap.
I rarely use daps but the Tempotec V6 looks good and I know of that Hiby model and it looks nice.
