When I ordered my harness from China, the vendor asked for any special configurations like injector types, etc. The harness was excellent and any questions or concerns were addressed by the vendor within a day or so. I am very pleased with my harness. Price was similar and much less than most on eBay or anywhere else. And, wire was high temp wire throughout.
My plan is to buy a running driving truck and pull everything I need from it. Then drop it into an old truck (1950ish). I can use lots of parts from ls truck to make old old one work. I just need to find a tuner.
I’m watching this video because I plan on lsa swapping my 5.0 Genesis G80 and I’m hearing these price’s and I’m like that’s not high at all. These prices don’t even compare to my mk3 Supra 1.5JZ build😒 my wiring harness alone cost me almost $2k🤦🏾♂️😂
I perfore the factory junk yard option my 92 blazer is using all factory gm stuff even have ac controlled by ecu don’t have any issues for a daily driver but the harness I think would make a good ecm tuner or one for a Stan
Ok. The bulk wiring with no labels on it. Does that need to be wired into the stock harness or what? I’m new to this. 1st time doing it. That has lost me. I subbed to
at 7.24 of your video you talk about the bundle of wires, can you share what colour wire is for the speedometer and tack,,I got one that is used and need a little help with the label, thanks if you could share that,,cheers!!
When I turn my key to on position. I get signal voltage to turn on ecu, which turns on my fuel pump relay, but the 87 pin on both relays don’t send out any power, I switched with new relays and same issue. When I crank to start I get a couple burps from starting fluid but no start. The readings from 87 pin on fuel and ignition relay read .4-.6 volts. But key back to on they go back to 0… any idea? I tested all grounds and such so they all are good.
@@JovaniDanteGriego can you further explain? Dont I need a power wire (87 pin) to get to fuel pump to fire up? That pin isn’t getting power. The 85 pin is my green fuel pump ecu signal wire. And the 86 is my ground. 30 pin has that big red power wire. This is my first time ever swapping a vehicle this extent. So sorry for any nube question’s.
I’m using my old harness and old ecu on my swap. Taking out my 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 LC9 with the same engine off a 2013. Will the ecu still need to be reflashed? Complete noob first time doing it. Thanks.
Where are you located bro? I have an OBS that I’ve been wanting to LS swap. Idk if you take projects like that or if you know of any shop that specializes in doing swaps? Thank you. Love your vids man keep it up.
For the under dash wires. Where would I connect them where under the dash? I seen the diagram you have on the blog but just don't know where to connect them to.
What connects to the eye (bolt)of the alternator? I know those two red rings from the ebay harness goes to the starter and than your battery goes to the starter..

Who did you order your harness from?
I worked with a Lewis Lfny.
Very informative!!!! Thank you
Of course!
This was super informative without being elitist, great job
Hey thanks! I appreciate that comment. I'm just like everyone else trying to figure things out
I like your teaching style. You explain things very well. Thanks! I've learned a lot from you!
Thanks for that!
Thanks for sharing this. I am currently shopping for a wiring harness for my LS conversion.
These Vids are legit gold! Great content and you explain everything so well!
Thank you!
I made my harness for basically free from a 2002 Chevy truck 💪🏽😎👍🏽 after friends told me it would cost 3000$ 😂 I just wanted to prove them wrong lol
I got one for 300$ it works great 3years later
Same here bro , free with the junk yard engine
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU YOU were very informative hit on a lot topics including one that I was thinking about

Im on a budget. Got a 383 from a LM7 5.3 thats coming together. Im getting a 4l80e. Need a harness and computer. The car is a 94 3.4 camaro
The harness I want to get comes with ev1 to ev6 adaptors iam 62 yrs old this is all new to me thanks for your help
If you are using a vortec engine you may still need mini Delphi to whatever the harness has

Another great video!
Great info as always.
I was about to pull the trigger and buy one of these but I decided to go with Holley terminator
Good call! That's definitely what I'm using on the next project
How do you like the terminator
Great video man I’m planing mine soon
You made an amazing video I want to LS swap mine where are you located?
A video explaining the loose wires would be appreciated bro, thanks. sick vids bro animo! 🤟
I has to contact the seller and they sent me a schematic. It's on my blog jovanidantegriego.com/blog
In the wires where they go to speedo and tach etc what is the pink wire and the grey wire
Did you ever figure this out?

You had a lot of info in this but basically no info for the stand-alone you bought
Hey bro
What harness can I used for
LQ9 6.0 engine with a t56 transmission
Swapping it on a foxbody

I couldn’t find the link where you said they build the stand alone harness
I don't think I had a link. There's lt1tech.com where there's instructions on building one
So you don't have a need for the 02 sensor plugs once the pcm is tuned? Running aftermarket racing headers...
Yes you still do.just the rears. Some guys will run them without them but it's more efficient to have at least the fronts.

have you found a harness that works? I wanna find a plug and play harness for my 95 obs, trynna drop a 5.3 from a 02 silverado in it
Have u installed it I bought the same one thinking it would have info for the wires would u be able to tell me wt every wire
Let me find the email from the seller. I'll post it up on my website
what color wire went to your fuel pump
I think blue. But I can't remember
What ecu works for the drive by cable harnesses?

It really depends what your swapping. If your talking about the gauges it's really just tach and speedo
@@JovaniDanteGriego so pretty much on them extra wires connect to the cluster ?
@@ouubenny2657 yea if you have digital gauges
@@JovaniDanteGriego no digital just the stock gauges. Having this on a 99 silverado ls swapped

I just added it again thanks

how hard is it to wire up a 5.3 into a 97 OBS?
I think you can reuse the factory harness and just repin everything but I might be wrong. Lt1swap.com has some good info
Do u know what injectors came in a 02 searria 4.8
They are most likely mini Delphi/multec. I have a picture here www.jovanidantegriego.com/post/ebay-china-ls-standalone-harness-guide
👍
How l can order same wiring harness?
Links in the description
Why is this called a stand alone harness. I have noticed stand are are cheapest.
Standalone means that the power has been riditributes to work outside of a factory gm vehicle
Can you do my harness
No but LSX Specialties can

That is your charging wire. That should run (fused to your battery to charge it
Suse 1/ SUSE2. What were those about I can’t find them anywhere? I thought they would go to the starter
They do go to the starter
