For the BPM/tap tempo button (on the iPad), you guys should add 2x+ and 2x- buttons. Then you can tap the BPM in, hit the 2x+ or 2x- button, and get double time or half time BPMs.
I have used this at my work place and it's brilliant dmx controller
1am and im just sitting here watching this tutorial :')
Finally a controller that can do Low Mid High sounds to light (even though the demo of this was not really beneficial)
One big question I have after using the console and app a bit more....
Why, on the submasters view are the 32 buttons just inactive? This seems like an oversight. I want to be able to fade in scenes using the faders, but also bump other scenes that have strobes or chases in them, but I can't unless the scenes are withing 6 spots of each other or else you can't access them both without having to page over.
It just seems like it make so much sense that the 32 scene buttons would stay active while in submaster view.
Any help is appreciated.
Looking at purchasing the Link but I have a couple questions.
1. does the link transmit to WiFly Lights and the WiFly battery or will I need one at the board to send a signal to one at the stage?
2. It was mentioned using an extender for wifi signal, would this be a standard off-the-shelf extender or would the ADJ bridge be best used.
thank you
Wouldn't you want to hardwire your connection to the ipad? Isn't that the whole purpose of this product, to eliminate wireless lag or issues and have a hardwire console?
Is there any way to edit scenes and effects? Do I really have to re program the entire scene just to change the fade time?
Hi.
Is it possible to use a local wifi network? I want to use the Ipad alone in bigger locations with an wifi infrastructure.
Thank you :)
Hello, I purchased your ADJ LINK console but I cannot find a way to update your product. Can you help me ?
che programma e quello usato dalla centralina è compatibile con tutti i fari anche con i lotus e al posto del tablet si può usare un pc
My PC shows under USB device Airstream but when trying to run firmware update it Shows device Not Connected what am I missing and Yes its on Boot mode green light flashing
I was very interested in this device. And I have a few questions for you.
1. Will it be possible to connect several devices in parallel, in particular, work with an iPad and a MacBook?
2 Are you planning applications for Android and Windows devices?
3. Will it be possible to additionally connect a midi controller and program its functionality, as it was in MyDMX?
4. Very important: Does the program have a built-in visualizer? it would be good to use 2 iPads, one to display the program, and on the other a visualizer.
5. Is it possible to create and program scenes offline?
6. Since the device is not pro-level, I think it would be better to use 3-pin connectors instead of 5-pin connectors.
Thanks!
1. Nope. It’s just for IPad, it’s ran by the LINK app. You can save your shows to a MacBook by plugging your iPad into your Macbook though.
2. Not at this time.
3. No? The link is already a controller and will only work with this controller. There are no programmable midi functions. This product is very different than any My DMX product. Maybe I just don’t understand your question.
4. No, no visualizer.
5. I guess you could do some programming offline, but I think it would be VERY hard to actually use that realistically for advanced programming.
6. Pretty much all consoles are 5 pin, that is very standard. You can just buy a 5 to 3 pin adaptor, they are very cheap.
Hello, but of i want play scene1 and scene 2 everybody, how i can do?beacuse when i play scene 2 , scene 1 not work
A programnak van time line funkciója?
Will update pop up on iPads if there is updates?
Can I control the board with two ipads at the same time?
Can you create a Playback?
Why is it 5 pin DMX instead of 3 pin? Do I just have to get DMX cables from 5 pin to 3 pin for it to work? All my lights have 3 pin.
you can always buy a 5-pin to 3-pin cable or an excellent choice would be purchasing a splitter that has both 5 and 3 pin
Hi there. Can I program a Go Button on the Link to go through scenes in a show in order? Also when going through scenes what's the easiest way to live adjust a DMX hazer that's running through the Link?
did you ever get an answer about this?
Why spend 1k on this console if Ipad does all the work the same way? I use ADJ airstream with IPAD and after watching this video I can`t see what would be a game changer for me.
Is it possible to timecode it?
Midi triggering?
Its basicly an upgraded Midicon.
Does the stand also fit an 12,9" iPad Pro?
How far does the Wi-Fi reach and what happens if the iPad gets disconnected, will the show still run?
Also it would be so nice if the Link had an USB-C Port so you could power everything trough a two port USB charger.
With two c ports on the link you could power everthing throu one cable an could directly connect the newer iPads trough an usb-c cable.
it does fit an ipad pro. When the ipad becomes disconnected the link will hold the last value it had before it disconnected. You can always switch to Standalone mode if this were to happen. We reccomend 75' for good quality/fast connection but it can go much further, also depends on what Ghz range you are on. There are multiple different ipad ports which is why you just need to get the one thats right for your ipad. As for the power, yah the USB port is just data so you still need to run your USB cable to a power outlet.
@@jocklablue6838 75' is feet right? (I'm from Germany)
Thanks for the detailed answer.
You are Jake right?😉
@@ShowXTech And yes I did mean 75 feet. Another thing you can do as well is put a Wifi repeater a certain distance away from the console and it will dramatically extend the range. There are lots of options.
It's only for adj lights? Can i use lights from another company?
It outputs dmx, so any light that accepts dmx, yes. Its a univeral protocol so it will work with almost all entertainment lights out there.
Does this eliminate the airstream wifly dmx system?
It does not include WiFly transmission if that is what you are asking. You can add WiFly to any universe you would want to by adding an ADJ WiFly EXR Battery transceiver and plugging that into the physical DMX output of the Link Console.
I want to buy this controller the thing is . I have dmx fixtures with 3 pins . And i see that the controller’s output is 5 pin .. do you guys have an alternative for 3 pin dmx fixtures?
Yeah you can get a DMX adaptor that goes from 5 to 3 pin, super easy and cheap.
@@jocklablue6838 awesome thanks alot
The protocole is hyper simple ….. 1with 1 2with 2 and 3with3
You guys need to update your library very limited on some of the stuff you guys have you don’t have any high end Or older Lights from Elation
LOL that's crazy considering they are Elation.
Hi is there any way to invert the pan, without having to do it on the fixtures?
In fixture profile creation
@@BRAVE_dj No just for a particular scene. I have been doing it manually
@@michaelvillanueva6862 you need to inevert the pan for one scene?
Can I use Chinese lights
Yes, I am using 32 of them with no issues. If the light runs on the DMX 512 protocol then this will control them
In my opinion the WMX1 is a better option than this console and at a better price.
is there any way this console can work without an ipad
*Non of the programming and running, especially during the live show, is so simple !!!!*
Maybe not for you.
@@alienencore3848 OK Mr. perfect !!
tuto en français svp
Are the faders motorized?
no they are not
@@jocklablue6838 Oh man, this is a misser first class.....
@@Peettest It's a $1k console. You don't get motorized faders on a $1k console. If you don't know that then you don't know much.
This guy speaking is all over the place… he messes up words a ton, and just not good explaining.🤷🏻♂️
