We have a Donner and it works with that. We also use an AUX cord from the DJ Controller into the WMX1 so that we don't have to worry about it reacting to voices, loud noises or the microphones (which are routed through the mixer, not the controller).

Hey Jimmy, great video. 👍🏼 Question though. Toward the beginning of your video you mentioned that you might just buy the Rockville wireless controller for the uplights, why is that. Never heard your answer for that. I ask because I haven't bought either controllers yet, but own some of the wedges already and looking to buy a controller. Thanks!
The Rockville controller is good if you’re only wanting to control Rockville lights wirelessly but if you plan to run other light brands I would recommend the WMX1 controller.

You don’t have to add 2 or more fixtures. Just add one, and all of your uplights can be on the same channel. They all respond to the actions you perform from that one uplight.
I don't think you will be able to use the chasing if all your fixtures are on one dmx address.
@@VijayGandhinagarcorrect! If you set it up as 1 fixture all your colour effects will essentially turn into strobe or flash fades.
Why dont you master/slave both lights instead of setting the 2nd light to channel 11?
I use Rockville Best Par 50s for uplighting. Didn’t see them on the Rockville list. Are the 50s still compatible

If I have 12 uplights, do I have to assign them their own channel to get them to "chase" when I hit phase? Or can they all be on the same channel?
Yea they can all be on the same channel which I would recommend.
On the wmx1 how do I delete a new project?
The way I delete any projects I connected to my computer and open up the software and delete it that way

I love the Focus spots honestly but I’ve used both and they are actually similar so it basically preference.
