This month, a certain beloved automaker has taken up 6 SLOTS on the top 10 FASTEST-SELLING cars list! Truly remarkable, rivaled only by Stellantis' stranglehold on the top 10 SLOWEST-SELLING list! - Розваги
I went to the dealer this morning and followed all the advice given. It was empowering and even though they wouldn't settle on my asking price, I walked out confident I can find a dealer who will negotiate with me
"BAM!". That's the spirit.
Yeah, I think it depends on the inventory of your region if they have 15 vehicles, or they have one makes a difference in negotiation
Dealers still don’t want to negotiate they prefer to keep the vehicles on their lot then sell them - it’s like no more vehicles being built anymore in 🇺🇸
Honda is still trying to get 53k for the 38k crv 😂😂😂😂
@@NorCal-refrigeration just got Camry $4k off msrp and 4.75 interest need to work system. What is your best price you got
Toyota won my vote when I put 300,000 miles on a 2010 Camry Hybrid. Then sold it for 1/2 what I paid. True story.
8 year old tundra, was offered 6500 less than what i paid on trade... now that is insane. they have the best vehicles, and perfected the hybrid
meanwhile at the ford plant, they lose 50% in the first 3 years... 1 year if its a lightning ;)
So, what you're saying is combining reliability and affordability results in cars selling? (Toyota)
Trust me when american car companies realize that shit again they arent gonna make reliable cars to compete they will just lobby for import restrictions again like in the late 80s lol
In spite of recent gaffes, "unparalleled brand equity/reputation". Sometimes perceived quality is more important than the real thing.
Always ready to learn the latest knowledge from these guys! Just so knowledgeable and genuinely entertaining. This channel is amazing! 💎
Really? The kid never sold anything in his life while the dad ripped off people for 40 years
"We should track down all 1045 people who bought Dodge Hornets and ask them why."
That's gold Jerry, gold! 🤣
Toyota success easy to explain, good reliable vehicle at decent price! Try that concept you other OEM's!
I just bought a chevy trax, my dealer had just got a truck load of them. They were still taking the plastic off when I was making the purchase. I went back to the dealer to pickup something I left in my old car two days later and they had sold all 11 of the chevy trax they had on the lot. It's a great car
Are serious that the Chevy Trax is a great car? We'll talk in 3 years
Pre order sales
It’s cheap junk, that’s why they sale…
They are complete garbage throwaway cars. We have them in our fleet at my job and they become complete money pits after 3 years before they even hit 36,000 miles. Coolant leaks, oil leaks, cam solenoid/phaser codes, mass airflow codes, evap leak codes, blower motor failures that require cutting out of the hvac housing, blend door/mode door cable failures. I thought the fiestas were bad but I’ve never seen a modern car with lower quality than the trax/sonic.
Love these monthly videos! As someone who’s in the market for cars this helps me immensely!!! Thank you 🙏
Cmon
i work at kia and we dont have any coming as the factory is switching to the 2025 redesign currently thats why its short supply same goes for k5
1859 clients bought Land Rover in the last 45 days - apparently they like to stay in close contact with their dealership ... because they will be visiting quite often. Toyota obviously has the winning formula of building reliable vehicles - how GM and Ford refuse to copy this is beyond my understanding. The Hornet has a good look but that's where the good news stops - it's a Stellantis Alfa Romeo.
You guys are absolutely correct & thank you for all your tips. I got an amazing deal on my Subaru Solterra & I love it! Being the Subaru version of the Toyota BZ4X and built by Toyota I expect decades long reliable & happy ownership. Thanks for all your tips to getting me an amazing deal on my favorite vehicle on the market today!
(It's not for everyone but it's perfect for me & my driving habits!)
I’m on my fourth Toyota, probably won’t ever buy another brand. Currently my 4Runner is worth more than I bought it for 10 years ago. Over 250,000 miles and never an issue. Only the normal stuff underneath, brakes, rotors…..
Great video.. straight to the point & super informative! 👏🏽
True, if you hadn't mentioned the Dodge Hornet, I wouldn't have known it exists. I still don't know anything about it, and have no desire to find out.
You don’t wanna get stung
@@Whateva67🤣
Same, I was around the first ones back in the day 😂
Curious what the pros & cons of the Dodge Hornet are, for a salesperson to sell this thing?
@@Shakashack2022 all cons, no pros😀
Wow! What a difference a year can make in terms of available cars and number of cars sold.
I’m surprised the Civic, CR-V, or Accord weren’t on the list of fastest selling cars. I’d have expected one of them to make the list, at the very least.
This is obviously a Toyota propaganda. I just bought a nice Honda HR-V.
@@robertonavarro7713 to be fair, Toyota also is known for holding very little inventory in general and as their demand has gone up, they just don’t have enough on lots to meet demand.
Have yet to see a single toyota dealer without add ons. Same goes for all other dealers...
Alarms, paint protection, lojack, tint, key protection, nitrogen, door guard... etc...
Nope. Keep them. All my cars are paid for.... zero debt.
What's crazy is that in the State of Kansas where I live. There is only 2 SR Toyota tundra 4×4. Dealerships here don't want to sell an SR because they won't make money but I want an SR that's not over price. But they are so overpriced here.
@@NovaValentine000you could order one. It just would be a delay
Looked at a 2024 Carolla Cross in Feb 2024, where I live in BC, Canada, mid trim package with AWD. $29k msrp, none on the lot for sale, the one I test drove was just bought by a Toyota employee. They said they had 1 in the trim I wanted coming in April. The total cost after taxes and fees, with an interest rate at 8.9% was just under $41k or $608 a month for 72months. Zero room for negotiation because of low supply, high demand. It’s a nice crossover but not $41k nice, I didn’t buy it.
Bought a Lexus today no add-ons. They put them on the order. I lined them out and said I did not want. Pretty easy in my case. Hope you get the success you seek.
Honda is another one.
We bought the Hybrid Sienna when it was first introduced in 2021 and couldn't be happier with our purchase. It was before car prices exploded, we got the XLE model for $38k and it's held its value really well. Not that we would sell it, most likely pay it off and buy another when the next remodel comes out. Either that or we'll pickup a pair of Corolla hybrids for our kids to use.
We paid 43k OTD for our 2024 LE hybird!
When me and my father came to a Toyota dealership in early 2022, for a used 12-18k mile 2021 Toyota Sienna special edition (only thing special was the bronze color) they told us that they were offering it to us for 70k. Yeah… we left the dealer right away.
@@abdulgill5013 that's insane! It's crazy to me that Carfax is still offering me $38k for it. Absolutely bonkers! We only have 18k miles on it and the loan is only 1.9%, I've been paying it off on a schedule to be paid off a year early. I can't believe they would try to sell one for $70k. There's a dealer nearby that can put you in the Platinum for $52k. After we pay this one off we will probably trade up if there's been a redesign, and maybe get a Prius for when we don't need to haul the whole family. The Corolla Hybrid also looks decent for a compact.
Never spend more than $2000 on a kids first car. They will destroy it.
@@markmiller8903 $2000 barely gets you anything that doesn't look like it just came out of a junkyard though.
quality and dependable
I went to Carmax today and my a$$ still hurts, even though I didn't even buy anything....
Your vids are getting tighter and better👌
We are a Toyoya fam with. Rav, Taco and HLander. Had a Ford and a Honda and both continued to have maintenance issues-never again.
Once again. Your editor and/or producers are worth the money.
I was surprised no mention of the honda line
@@michaeljohnson3131 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I do see lots of new Hondas on the road right now. The new line is a good looking line.
Been in the market for a used Prius, and will buy tomorrow if all goes well. The only thing the dealer liked about me, other than my daughter kept the Salesman in stitches (she's 8, funny & adorable) was my comment about how the car I wanted was taking up valuable space on their lot. Space, they could fill with another car that someone else will finance and buy options for. Unfortunately for them, I both watch these videos, am well versed in state tax law on vehicles, and can pay cash.
I have owned a Toyota Camry brand new and a Hyundai Sonata hybrid brand new. I have found that the Hyundai Sonata hybrid has out performed the Camry. I have over 110,000 miles on it and have yet to need new brakes, due to regenerative braking system. The Hyundai looks and runs like new. It is quiet, economical, reliable, durable, comfortable and stylish. What more could you ask of any car? Hyundai warrantied the hybrid battery for life for the original owner. When new, I got 48 mpg. After 10 years, I get almost 40 mpg. That’s well over 600 miles per tank, (17 gallon tank). I recently got my Sonota inspected by the dealer who sold me the car. I asked when does the hybrid battery typically fail? He said he didn’t know because they’ve never had to replace one.
Great car at a great price.
I bought a new 2020 Camry LE four years ago. MSRP was 26K...thru Costco's auto buying program I got it for 23K. Great car with great milage! My truck is a 1970 F-250. Bought it for 10K...now worth around 20 - 25K. I get compliments wherever I go!
10k in 1970 is 81k today adjusted for inflation. Heck I bought my rental in 2000 at 250k now worth 750k too, still have it and netting me $2600 per month. Anywho, bought my 2017 Lexus ES350 new in 2017, got it for 32k, 35k OTD.
1. Chevy Bolt - You should probably drop the Chevy Bolt off the fast sellers list as its been discontinued.
2. Toyota's Car Sales - Doing a little quick math and comparing 'Market Day Supply' and 'Total for Sale', it seems like Toyota and its dealers are doing a great job with inventory management; what comes on the lots moves off the lots within the month, so no ongoing carrying costs (or whatever the auto guys call it).
3. The Dodge Hornet - I saw a commercial for them last night on a TV streaming channel so you're not the only ones making its existence known. Dodge/Stellantis must be getting desperate to move those out.
4. What about the Dodge Charger? I thought those were sitting on lots, too.
odd...ive been in market for Titan Pro4X and the dealerships do not discount these very much...not sure what region your report is for, I live in SC and appears vehicles aren't being discounted much..
How do I find the days supply of a particular model?
$42,000 selling price for a W-horenet?!?!?! You gotta be kidding me 😂
Toyota's reputation for reliability and resale value is unmatched. I recently watched a documentary about them. If they have a problem on the assembly line no matter how small or large they stop the line no matter how long to fix the problem. Their vehicles look boring because their sheet metal makes for ease of production. Their tech is dated because it's proven reliable. They've been having some problems recently because all new up to date models but in a year or two they will have all the bugs worked out. It's a shame that other automakers have tried to adopt their production techniques but have failed because they're too worried about cost cutting.
Honda all day every day.
@@frankfurtur5531Honda's reliability has fallen drastically..
Lexus and pay cash all day every day, nothing else in my household.
Toyota was having some assembly problems in their new Tundra factory in San Antonio a few years ago. They sent 200 engineers from Japan over to fix it. Two hundred! Impressive. I am surprised that the Tundra hasn’t sold better, but pickup truck loyalty among the big three is huge!
@@jml9550I love Lexus but the lack of dealerships is the issue. I don’t want to have to drive 2 hrs just to have my car serviced.
Can you make a list of total cars sold , year to date ,as the fastest selling cars?
If I’m not mistaken, the
“Lean Management / production” system is modeled off the Toyota system.
Any idea where the regular prius falls on this list?
EV fan boys were saying Toyota will go bankrupt lol.
Same people who said inflation was transitory.
EV Battery🔋Fanboys are sucking🍼 up too much soy milk😂
@@charlesjackson1700 secretly people know that Toyota is getting in their way of their ideology. The truth is there is room for everything and politicians and people just need to allow consumers to decide what they want. Hybrids will be around for a very long time, unless they develop a crazy efficient battery that doesnt explode.
People forget the most powerful and efficient hybrid are trains. Diesel electric. Hybrid is here to stay
Wait until Toyota start making solid state batteries and scale up production, it will be in every Toyota and Lexus PHEV. They gonna sell like hotcakes.
My new Toyota Corolla build date was this week!! I’m so excited!! I can’t wait to see it. However, I’m worried it’s going to take forever to be delivered. Anyone have a good estimate on how long it should take until I get it?
The 'theme' I see is that the market supply, 'total for sale', is low for all the Toyota models, meaning the meaning the 'Market Day Supply' is pretty tight and dealers are going to gouge customers for these cars. Right?
I saw where there were 2023 challengers on a lot for only 33 days. Do dealerships transfer cars that causes this anomaly?
Good stuff guys! I still need to don a spit shield whenever Ray is talking. His mic must be soaking wet...
Still driving my 2005 Toyota Sequoia. 250k miles
I was just at the Alfa Romeo dealer having my Stelvio serviced. They told me the 500e is selling quickly. 😮
Got an offer on a truck $6k under MSRP. Was too heavily loaded and too expensive for what I want to spend, but dealers are will to work on price.
I was on your website looking for a car. It their an option to have a car delivered should the car be located outside of my state?
Yes. It's all up there on their website. At one time CE was offering free delivery east of the MS river. Just contact them and ask.
Is there a similar site in Canada to know the top and low stars?😅
Everybody who knows of the HORNET, also know that this vehicle is a FIAT.
Fix It Again Tony!
My friend's mom bought a brand new AMC Hornet back in 1978.
Toyota is king in the automarket
Surprised the Toyota GH did not even crack the fastest list. It took me a year to get a hold of the hybrid version.
Can't beat a lease on Solterra right now. Obviously, if you are in the market for an EV make sure it's the right one for your needs.
The “Theme” is quality , reliability, and value including resale value . I don’t need an Acadia , Traverse et Al blowing a transmission a couple of years after the warranty expires .
Land Rover....reliability?
the biggest problem with the dodge hornet is that its too expensive for what it is, it's average selling price is $42,000 which is around the price someone can buy a full size suv from a few competing manufacturers.
Quality and reliability sells!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Taking in count "days of supply" is a tricky sales indicator.
Can you tell us the fastest and slowest-selling hybrids.
So the "fastest" selling car is the KIA K5 at 2,274 units sold in 45 days ! Wow ! Toyota's Rav 4 only managed to sell 67,464 units IN 45 DAYS, HOW SAD !
Kia. Fire sale 😜😬
Kia is #1 because the K5 is transitioning from the 2024 to the refreshed 2025. same for Traverse. Chevy is gearing up for the new generation of the Traverse.
Toyota is a far superior automobile!
Exactly, their reasoning is not smart at all. Fastest selling should equal most units sold. Full stop.
Just curious. Do these numbers include rental fleet sales?
Rental fleet sales usually go through the car manufacturer directly. Small batches of vehicles (let's say a contractor buying 5 vehicles) usually go through a local dealer's fleet sales staff.
I would love a Toyota, especially the new 4Runner, but the “subscription fee” after the trial period ends is a deal breaker. Only offer it on the hybrid or EV models. They still would make a ton of money.
Really liked "Pops" gray shirt looks really good and comfortable, just an honorable mention, lol.
What's the price on a Ford Ranger (under $33,000 is it ICE) if it is most likely needs a long bed as standard for business interest?
I think I'm correct in saying there are no Rangers at or under $33k selling price. Secondly, the longest bed is gonna be 6' on an extended cab. Most will be short beds on Crew Cabs (that's where the money is). Most are turbocharged.
There are a very few F-150 XL's (reg cabs) out there w/8' beds in the $30-$31k listed range. Turbo V-6's.
(Edit: It was mentioned here a couple of weeks ago that Ford has not released ANY of their (already built) '24 Rangers. Not sure if it's a stop-ship/quality issue or what).
The problem with the Toyota sienna is that the front end and hood are butt ugly. Only a head on collision could improve it.
Also it only comes as a hybrid. I'd buy one if it was powered by only an ICE engine and they didn't throw so many 'convenience features' on it.
I think they look awesome!
On the other hand, when you're inside and driving an ugly car, you don't have to look at it.
Toyota RAV4 id built 1 hour from me in Ontario Canada and cant get them or keep them on the dealer lot. The big 3 have cars piling up on the lots.
It is what it looks like it is.
It's sad that people are buying toyota and other foreign cars, sending our money to Japan.
@@daviddawe7315 I just road tested almost all brands, why do foreign brands made in North America have better quality fit, finish, less rattles etc than gm, ford and Chrysler brands.
they control the flow of vehicles on market
Why would anyone pay 42 grand for a Hornet, even after rebates?
People are paying that and more for certain model Hyundais/KIAs, so apparently someone likes them. I don't get it either.
What do I buy for? Reliability! Toyota has it!
Love your videos, but wondering why you don't classify the Tesla Model Y as car? Sales data puts it right up there with the RAV4. Is it because they aren't sold through dealers?
Because there is a "CarEdge Electric Unplugged" UA-cam channel for that.
What state (area) is the Hornet selling the absolute SLOWEST?
I had never even heard of the Trax until today 😂😂😂
To OEM's note the huge drop in sales of the $50,000 Sienna, to the first 2 Toyota models on the list. $17,000 jump in price has a hell
of a chilling effort on sales volume wouldn't you say?
New Siennas are few and far between last coupla years. They've interviewed Toyota dealers dealers on the channel who've essentially said about Sienna: "You're gonna have to wait a good while. We can't get them."
@@NVRAMboi $50,000 car, Toyota is building more better selling models. Check the sales numbers.
That 45k dollar hornet gonna be worth about 4 thousand in 2 years... Great investment 😂
‘Fastest selling’ should be the most cars sold in a month regardless of supply. That’s a different list. What you’re showing is supply and demand to focus on where the deals should be.
That would be top selling.
Lexus being in the list with 900 cars is wild
Yoda is the theme
I am curious as to why you did not report any sales from Tesla? They are still selling the Model Y which was the best selling car in the world last year. I am sure you could find out how many are sold in the U.S if you tried.
they need a good cam in block V8
That RAM 2500 looked odd
These new car dealers who are overloaded on inventory need to wake up before it’s too late. It’s not rocket science. The average consumer can not buy a new vehicle for $40-50k or more and finance it at 9-10% apr without having payments of $600-800 per month. Even working class families with 2 incomes struggle to make these kinds of payments. Not to mention most have rents or mortgages around $1500-2000 a month. Plus the average American has around $15 to 20k in credit card debt.
Im curious. Never any stats for Tesla. Is it because of the way they are delivered (no dealers)? Or that you can’t work with them (no dealers)? Would love to know.
Because there's a separate "Electric" UA-cam channel. 95% of the people here are ICE/hybrid owners and don't care about Tesla or any other EV.
Yes. Made on order. Tesla does not split sales per month so would not be comparable. Only by quarter.
I saw a 500x ad within 4 hours before watch this,
I didn’t know the Hornet exists!
How easy is it to buy a car from the usa 🇺🇸 I'm from Canada 🇨🇦
I saw my first Dodge Hornet today in LA, and I too wanted to ask them, “Why?”
I think the rental car companies have purchased about 1000 hornets in the past 2 months
I would say that the vehicle that has sold the most vehicles in that 45 day period is the fastest selling vehicle because I'm seeing a lot of new Toyotas all over the place but that KIA K5 I have not yet seen anyone driving them around
they do sell but peoples are smart and return them to get a toyota 😂
Kia k5 is forsure one of the fastest. I remember when I got it. It literally just arrived at the dealership ship 1 hour ago. They barely had time to remove all the plastic covers😂
I think I saw a Dodge Hornet commercial during a hockey game a couple nights ago. It wasn't a bad looking car. I'm not sure what Dodge's strategy is here.
I tried to buy a Hornet but the dealer would not budge on price
Zach has figured out based on posting these top videos his fastest and slowest videos drive significant views, proves it is about the money
And...?
@@VagabondOfNote and we know it……..
The Hornet 🤣🤣🤣 I shouldn’t laugh.

I didn't understand the 60,000 tires bit. What was that all about?
Flat spot on the tires from sitting and not rotating as in being driven
@@SteveWalker-ju6yo Got ya. Thanks.
Toyotas are great if you plan to keep them a very long time, since it takes a very long time to overcome the $10k premium over MSRP

$12.00 is about right
People just want a reasonable prices run-about vehicle...need a $30000 minivan in the market!
Maybe a used Sienna, maybe
It's nuts how all the minivans are severely overpriced now. Even Kia gets arrogant when trying to negotiate a Carnival.
Minivans and Sedans were pretty much abandoned for the (ongoing) CUV craze.
@@NVRAMboithe marketing gimmicks were very effective
Looking the days supply of Toyota is funny. The lots in Florida are PACKED with them (new).
I'm not sure why the focus on days supply denotes how fast cars are selling; you can make your car have a very short number of days' supply by shipping very few of them.
64k card sold is crazy
I saw a Dodge Hornet Tv commercial that was very compelling. Only saw it once tho.
All they could afford, gotta sell more 100k vehicles first.
Ratti's Rides just did a review of it. Looks like a 48k hunk of junk to me but to each their own.
