Loved this series, I can’t begin to tell me ... thank you ma'am.
"Why did you get a Veternarian"?
"Well i didn't think his religion would matter"!!

Was this a subtle plug for religious and racial tolerance?
@@michaelpalmieri7335 Just a quote from L&H by Ollie ☺

I know that. It's from their feature film "Sons Of The Desert" (1933), where Ollie pretends to be sick and plans to have a doctor come over and tell him he needs a change of scenery, but this is just a ploy so that Ollie and Stan can go to the Sons Of The Desert convention in Chicago. But the doctor that Stan calls turns out to be a veterinarian (animal doctor), thus leading to the "didn't think his religion would matter" line.
When I asked if this was "a subtle plug for religious and racial tolerance," I was just speculating whether that line was thrown in as, shall we say, a bit of social commentary aimed at moviegoers who might harbor some prejudices against people of different races and/or religions, because such bigotry was more common in those days than today.

Cool. That building should have some sort of commemoration plaque to mark that this is where County Hospital was filmed.
