One, who spelled his name exactly the same, wrote sitcoms for television, like the Munsters. The other, who spelled his name Richard Bare, was a producer and director of short comedy films in the famous & popular "Behind The 8 Ball" series for Warner Brothers, then had a long career in television writing and directing many shows, mostly comedies. So three Richard Baers, two wrote comedies, one ran a Nazi extermination camp.
