8:24.....can you imagine...these women saw what was going on, the killing of men, women, children, babies......and next was going to happen to them...and could do absolutely nothing. The horror of waiting your turn to line up at the trench. And as you are lined up...looking down into the trench with so many mangled dead bloody bodies....knowing you will be joining them at any minute. Myself ? I cannot begin to imagine the emotions of horror and the fear

It is hard to comprehend, the German generation back then was filled with psychopaths it seems.
How can you shoot kids, I mean some will even look like a kid from Germany.
And many of these smucks had kids themselves as Germany was very much pushing for everybody to have as much kids as they can.

My two uncles was over there when Patton was. No they never met him face to face, but got within a stone's throw of him. These two uncles were two of those that their job was to check the ovens (if just maybe someone was hiding in them) when the camps were liberated. They would never talk about it...but my aunts told how they would wake up screaming at night at things they saw in a cold sweat. One uncle would sometimes talk in his sleep and was said to have said Unmerciful bastards many times.

Words can’t really do justice to both my desire to thank you and describe how I feel about this. Two of my direct paternal relatives ( mother and toddler boy ) were done to death on this beach. The father was despatched to a ‘ labour ‘ camp. Wider members of the family ( amongst others ) have made many memorial pilgrimages to this place ever since. I cannot thank you enough for paying tribute to the wholly innocent victims, as well as solidly condemning the perpetrators. If you don't want to listen to stories about the Holocaust, or the many atrocities that happened during WW2, then quit watching videos like this. No I don't hate Germany at all. Every country in the world has committed atrocities against the people of other nations at some point. If they don't give their lifes to Jesus, judgement will come at their death. God writes everything... Everything ! In his books. No murder will be forgotten.

The people lined up at the beginning of the video, have all been identified
A mother, her daughter and son, in the white trousers, and another lady
Who was her neighbour, with her daughter.
There are a series of stills, which give clues to the method.
Along the top of the dune is a post with flag, that marked the end of the dead in the trench, and was where
Those to be killed were told to line up.
The boy in the white trousers is crying with fear, he has just witnessed people, undressed, and shot, he knows it is his turn next.
One little girl hides her head in her mothers arm, not wishing to see.
The other side of the dune is the open baltic sea, this was in winter
And would have been freezing cold.

One wonders what atrocities would have been carried out on the beaches of places like Bournemouth and Weymouth had the Germans succeeded in their invasion of England. We can only thank those brave men and women who gave their lives in wars to prevent similar happenings here. Bravery that seems to be forgotten by our leaders and sympathizers of increasingly authoritarian regimes, who stand idly by today while those freedoms are bit by bit whittled away by the current leaders in western countries that are actively encouraging invasion by those who wish us harm.

I am very confused about who to be upset with. Based on what I have read, when the USSR occupied Latvia in 1939 and according to Wiki "The Soviets dealt harshly with their opponents - prior to Operation Barbarossa, in less than a year, at least 34,250 Latvians were deported or killed.[63] Most were deported to Siberia where deaths were estimated at 40 percent.[57]: 48 "
Then, in 1941 the Einsatzgruppen came in and killed another 30,000+.
I have studied the Einsatzgruppen, and understand what their orders were and why they killed the way they did. My question is, was the USSR just as bad?
    Very confused.

Look, why did Germany and Hitler even allow "The Shoah massacres of Jews in 1941 and early 1942 in the Soviet Union" even fucking happen. I mean. Three (3) million innocent people were fucking treated like garbage and shot/gassed to death in those massacres (shootings and gassings.). Those 1941/1942 Shoah massacres of the Soviet Union, are unfortunately play a big role in the Holocaust. Presumably, if it was not for those massacres, there would be more descendants and more Jews alive today, than the 1 or 2 million we have right now in 2024. Well, at least they rest in peace now and today and we have to respect that.

Thank you. My father's side of the family, well that's me too, we lost many many many relatives in Germany in WWII, mostly Jewish. We were so scared we kept our Identity secret even in the North American Midwest. With good reason, as I have learned there is actual KKK presence as recently as the 1950s where I live now. Also Nazi party or descendants of Nazis living, working, at leisure among us. Even, I have experienced men trying to detect of I am Jewish. I play it off, as there is not much Jewish presence, & I feel threatened at times. One old neighbour harassed me for almost six years. She died of Covid & cancer. Another neighbour falsely accused me of theft, harassing her 13 year old boy, & even insinuated to others that I raped her. All false. The last seven years coinciding with the rise of Trump and the MAGA movement, have actually been a nightmare here in the Chicago suburbs. I am documenting diligently. I am the grandson of Simon Weinburg, I affirm that the Shoah / Holocaust is indeed actual history, true and supported by much evidence & testimony. At this time I advise I can forgive, but don't ever expect us to forget. Never forget.
