@@j.s.9964 That wasn't the bare minimum.. nice try though. There is over 800,000 police officers across the country. There are actually more good officers than bad. The small portion of aholes that abuse the badge have made it difficult for all the good ones. Too many armchair quarterbacks that don't have a clue what the job entails that try to twist it. It's a different story when the people bashing every officer then literally call them for help. That just makes them hypocrites.. . With all the jobs out there many people are in positions of authority that take advantage of it but we don't blame all the rest. To do so only shows ignorance..

The family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the hospital etc. The audacity of them to do such a thing is mind-boggling. I pray there is not a settlement and that it goes to trial. As for Alexee Trevino she has been charged with first degree murder and a trial is set for October 2023.

So-called medical professionals in the comment section of one comment stated that the hospital is at fault. These people need their heads examined, big time. She committed the crime, no one else. I just cannot believe there are people as deluded as that "family" commenting here. (Not you, referring to another thread). I would really like to know what they did "wrong". Most people don't kill their babies in hospital bathrooms. So, it's not a normal human reaction to follow a patient to the bathroom to ensure that isn't what she was doing. These people are nuts. I was nearly 6 months along with my first before I knew and I only knew then because I took a pregnancy test before having to go for X-rays of my spine. Going a long time without a period was normal for me and I hadn’t had one in a at least a year and I had been told I wouldn’t be able to have kids so I took a test just to be sure I wasn’t pregnant only to find out I was! I figured it must be very early since I hadn’t had morning sickness or anything and wasn’t showing or gaining weight. Imagine my shock when they did an ultrasound and said I was that far along! I am a small person (5’3” and maybe 110 lbs at the time) and I hadn’t gained weight or anything! My son was stillborn at about 38 weeks, 11 days before his due date, and I was devastated. I would have done anything to have the drs and nurses save him if they could have! He would be 24 in Nov of this year and I am still heartbroken. I was 19 years old same as this piece of garbage. It is definitely possible to make it past 4 or 5 months and not know though. I didn’t start showing or feeling movement until further along after I found out too. At about 7 months I just woke up with a little basketball under my shirt! It seemed to happen all at once! All of my pregnancies happened similarly though, 5 pregnancies & 6 babies, except when I was pregnant with the twins I had a big ol’ pregnant belly by about 3 months in. It’s actually surprisingly common. The “it just came out and I didn’t know what to do” so I wrapped “it” in a trash bag and threw it away part is where things become super abnormal. And the “nothing wasn’t crying” wtf?! Who calls their child “nothing”? And not crying doesn’t mean the baby isn’t breathing! My 2nd son didn’t cry when he was born and I was panicking and asking the drs and nurses why isn’t he crying is he ok make him cry!! But he was just chilling and looking around checking out the world. I almost wanted them to pinch him or something just to hear him cry because I was so afraid especially after losing my first son at birth! I certainly didn’t think, he’s not crying, guess I better throw him in the garbage!!!! This case makes me furious!

Living with her mother and her mother seeing her everyday …. Her mother KNEW. I was pregnant at 22 and living with my parents while going to college. I’m 110lbs thin built. My momma KNEW I was pregnant by the 4th month. I denied it because I was scared (even at 22) but my mom was calm and told me she wasn’t upset and I STILL DENIED IT. It took her breaking down to make me admit it…. Alexee’s mom KNEW… I have NO DOUBT! She just sucks as a mother and was probably trying to save face. This all could of been prevented if MOM wasn’t so worried about her reputation.

She had told at least a couple of kids at school. They said she even had a name for the baby. I believe she planned to kill it all along. She just didn't plan on being in the hospital when she did it or getting caught. The pain was too unbearable for her to have it at home in a bathtub. The reason the bathroom was so bloody was that she tried to tear up the placenta, so she could flush it down the toilet.
And yes, the mother knew, even if she couldn't get her selfish, narcissistic (according to kids at school) daughter to admit it, because she said, "Lexee, remember? We talked about this. I told you what happens to girls who (????) their babies." I can't remember the word the mom used there.

What breaks my heart is around the 45:00 mark when the officer is talking with the rookie or young man he’s training, they end up having a conversation about the baby. The young man seems genuinely concerned about the condition of the boy and how he was and what size he was. He showed more care, emotion and concern about that baby than his own mother. That was a very touching moment. Raw. Caught in body cam. So sad. He even brought up the case if the similar sounding name in New Mexico who tossed her baby in a dumpster. Alexis Avila. It obviously affected him. Fortunately Good Samaritans found him and opened up the bag he was in and saved his life. That girl had the nerve to say she wanted him back I think. I wish that young man luck. Then to hear that female officer talking about the baby and how cute he was. Also heartbreaking. She said she had no symptoms until 6 months with her own but when you physically give birth which is an increíble experience, you know you’re pregnant. You seek help!!!

When they finally went to her home to arrest her she walked back in with a deputy to get some feminine pads. On the way towards her room they passed what looked like a shelf with pics on it. In one of those pics was a huge 8×10 framed picture of an ultrasound. Almost like a shrine. On the frame of the pic was the name Alex which is what she named her baby. Now my question is, how did they have an ultrasound pic if Alexee and her mom didn't know she was pregnant? Something is fishy here. All her cheerleading videos clearly shows her pregnant belly. Why are they denying they knew about the pregnancy? Can't wait to see what comes out later.

    • @janetshemaryahu5529
      @janetshemaryahu5529 Рік тому +7

An ultrasound picture of the baby would be a very crucial piece of evidence in a trial bc it PROVES knowledge of pregnancy. Knowledge of the pregnancy could potentially be proven in additional ways, too. In that case, they cannot sue hospital for negligence and Alexee will be held responsible for newborn’s death bc mother and daughter should have planned for event of birth and have been honest at hospital with staff.
Edit: I just saw part one of this video. Alexee was given an ultrasound in the hospital after the birth, so that obviously changes what I said above.

I know that's one of the least odd things here I just think little stuff like that is telling to their relationship and why alexee was terrified to tell her. But it's still no excuse, as an adult she could have told a nurse that she didn't want her mother to be told what was happening and a nurse would have made her mom leave the room to safely deliver the baby and figure out a better plan. She also was large enough to know prior to this day she was pregnant so she had time to come up with a much better plan for everyone and save the babies life.

@taramcgavan7654 I'm from Ontario. It's called OAC. I'm not quite sure what you are up in arms about. It's for already existing students to have an extra year to either boost their grades or take on subjects that would help them out if they are interested in attending university to get a degree instead of a diploma. Like for those who want to go to medical school or study engineering or attend law school. It's one more chance to grasp all that they can get out of high school or to just boost their grades in the hopes of going into one of those paths. it's one grade up from your final year. Because of budget cuts i dont think it's around anymore, but, it was like that when I was in highschool. Also. depending on your birthday you could be 15 in the 9th grade instead of 14. So I graduated at 19 and if I took OAC I would have graduated at 20 years old. It's to prepare students to have one last year to fully prepare for their upcoming goals. I can tell by the way I am hitting the keyboard how frustated I am with the bs the murderer's lawyer is trying to twist....I hope and pray justice is served to a sweet, innocent baby boy who deserved to live a full and happy life, and your right all she had to do was tell the hospital staff to take the baby......they would not say a word and she would not be in trouble, but no, killing baby was her only option which speaks volumes about this witch!!!!

What got me was how the young mother referred to the baby as ‘nothing was crying’ as she pleaded with her own mom. The baby meant nothing to her. She said it herself…..Nothing! Mentally she’d already switched off as the fear of her mother was greater than any chance of giving love to the little kicks inside her. The mother must be another level psycho to live with. She obviously rules that household with a iron rod and is an A1 controller to that family. She was sexually active and still too frightened to tell her mother. The list goes on.

Seeing this case has comforted me because he’s more mature at 15 than Alexee is at 19 . Her mum has refused to accept she is a young adult . She doesn’t ask about the baby because that would be admitting to herself that her “little girl” was capable of getting pregnant. Young adults do things without thinking through the consequences- parents should be there to guide them but not watch over them and terrify them . Look at the way the mom looks at her daughter - she's very angry, and not about the dead baby, but about her daughter lying to her. Even if the girl didn't know she was pregnant (highly unlikely) when the baby came out, then she knew and at that point her decisions killed the baby. Even if born alive (the autopsy says the baby WAS alive), she tried hiding it, wrapped the baby in a garbage bag and the child died from that. But, based on other police videos, the mom and the lawyer are going to blame the hospital for it all. I'm sure the lawyer might even blame the mom ('cause they can't arrest her for being overprotective) for why the girl hid her pregnancy, but they'll say the hospital should have examined her better, checked sooner on her daughter in the bathroom, etc. But bottom line - once the baby came out it was in the girls hands to proceed with what to do next.

Thia girl hid her pregnancy (saying she not only had regular periods, but said that she was currently menstruating when she went to the hospital), hid that she had a baby (saying she had to poop and then just going back to her room as if nothing happened), then hid the baby in the trash can, killing it. And then acting like it wasn't even a human, referring to the baby as "It" and "Nothing". And then, months later, this girl, instead of being home mourning the death of her child, goes out to her prom in a dress that screams, "I'm ready for sex!" After rewatching this video. It is very clear that the hospital staff did everything right from the time they found the baby. The charge nurse was on top of everything. Even making sure that her rights where protected by HIPPA. This girl and overbearing mother have no leg to stand on when it comes to the death of this child and the actions of the hospital. Even if the medications they gave her had anything to do with the death of that child. 1) She gave the NO chance to try and save him. 2) She constantly lied to them about being pregnant or even the chance of pregnancy. 3) It's clean someone told her of the pregnancy before the bathroom incident from the charge nurse's. response. 4) She never told them she was taking diet pills until after the death of the child. Something they would have needed to know up front.
I hope that the DA hammers home that fact that when you're in the hospital and you are not truthful to the Dr.'s & you get the wrong or compromising medications you and you alone are at fault!

And the mother obviously doesn't have a clue that placing a baby in a trash bag and sealing it and hiding it is considered tampering with evidence..And your right she is bitching about the tampering but unfazed by the homicide charge.. She is just desperate to get the focus shifted off her daughter's crime.. The mother also went as far as to complain to the school board who actually sent out an email stating that no staff is to talk about it and if a student does they will immediately suspended and possibly expelled. What kind of horse sh*t is that?? It doesn't change the fact that the daughter committed murder without remorse and did it in a place that no excuse is acceptable..

When the “camera cop” is standing across from her door an hour or more in and she is just sitting there, staring, boggles my mind. I would be rocking to soothe myself and or crying with grief (both for my baby and my horrific actions I couldn’t take back) let alone pure fear. She is just cold and hasn’t cried out at all or anything. She needs to be a case study. I think she has what ever her mother has, but her mum must be worse for her to be so afraid of her.

Clearly she wasn’t “protective” enough. Letting her kid have sex, enabling her nasty attitudes toward other students in school, making her think she can do no wrong---that’s being protective?! Maybe don’t let her go have sex with her boyfriend, and stop denying an obvious pregnancy, and then defending the girl for killing her baby, and nearly getting herself arrested for refusing to comply with cops when they arrested her daughter. Protective? No. Narcissistic? Yes.

the fact that they made that poor facilities worker go back to work after making the discovery in the trash can is incomprehensible. where is the hospitals SOPs on something so horrific for a non emergency worker. she should have been relieved of duty immediately. she's not a nurse or doctor and just came across a horrific crime scene and is clearly traumatized. God bless her, i hope she is getting the help she deserves after witnessing this.

Someone please explain to me because I refuse to believe at 19 years old she thought.... omg, come on. The mom is cold-hearted. The poor baby. He deserved a chance. MANY couples would give anything to be h8s parents. I'm just not believing this. My baby didn't cry at the moment of birth. He had a pneumothorax in each of his lungs. He went directly to NICU. The cheerleading uniform definitely shows she was pregnant.

As a legal nurse consultant this would be an amazing case to work. It’s horribly tragic but the defense’s argument that this is the fault of the hospital is going to come down to the ED documentation from that night. I believe the digital evidence (Alexee’s cell phone records/internet searches) will be huge for the prosecution but in regards to the wrongful death suit filed against the hospital that’s all going to come down to documentation. My heart goes out to all of the staff working that night and to that poor baby who’s life was taken way too soon.

@@pamavery9352 she just found a deceased baby in a trash can. This isn’t some normal cleaning day at hospital..: everyone deserves some mental health support even if it’s inconvenient for the staff. They should have at least been asked how she was and if she felt she could stay. Whether they have to call someone in or not to keep her there the rest of the night my when she was clearly traumatized by the event shows a lack of concern for their staff.
