Today's battle is grim, muddy and even more brutal to it's participants than last. Soviet troops will attempt to cross the river defended by German infantry, tanks and guns. Heavy mortars and field guns will be supporting the attacking Soviet infantry and armor. Enjoy!
Note: All my maps and battles are modified/not part of the original game and does not represent the finished product. Everything you see is yours to experience if you so wish to create it. My version of the game contains no third-party content. Some videos/battles may contain footage of edited damage models and gun ranges. Everything is created in the GEM game engine's editor, allowing me to make fully custom battle simulations. - Ігри

@@onlyabn6322 literally come home with my food and plop down and watch some battles on my phone. Something about the explosions and mayhem is pretty therapeutic
Dude, idk why, but Diplex is the only UA-camr that does this for me. I think it's cuz he's adorable though. Love his passion for the art of war

Diplex videos takes me back to my childhood when i was like 13-14, im 22 now and graduating University and its crazy that he still uploads with the same quality

Sorry for the trivial question, but how do you use the Gates of Hell Ostfront editor? I mean, the game is in Beta phase, how does Diplex use the editor?
@@giordanocappelletti2821 You gotta have a special build to access it (among the other content like custom ai battles and conquest). Most of us who requested beta access via steam won't have that build. That's all I know

I rly appreciate all the small details in this game. How the trenches look, the ambience, the sound effects (distant ones especially), detailed mud, it all comes together so nicely

I will say I don’t like the forgiving damage. Kind of breaks my immersion when I see a soldier get shot 5 times in the head and not die

Since I know you do test runs for each battle I would love to see a quick compilation of your battle Bloopers! I'm sure you've got plenty where its glitchy. And I'm sure plenty of funny falters. Might be nice to see the video creation process in a larger extent!

Id love to see these missions on the workshop after the full version gets released, Getting a single squad while the ai charges to cover you, knocking out the mortars and at guns, and then getting tank reinforcements to spearhead the enemy backlines only to have all hope drained from you as a tiger accompanied by a panzergrenadier platoon reinforcing the german lines, and pushing the russian advance back to the river, a thousand dead on either side with no change of the frontlines

@diplexheated The idea behind making your round bigger than your enemy was that in a pinch, I can always use the enemies captured munitions, as long as my round is even just 1mm larger, and my enemy cannot use my capture munition.

It’s a closed beta so he has to keep his mouth shut on specific details sadly
