Been almost 20years ago,oh how time ticks away. I was 17 then,it’s was a 2002 lancer rally edition. Second and last time this car was totaled. Haven’t seen anyone I was with in it that night in years. We all survived I was 1 of 2 that were thrown from the car. I went under the mobile home and the other into the side of it and he was air lifted to the hospital and was put into a medical induced coma for awhile many surgeries later he still survived but was pretty much torn up for life. The other 2 were shaken up one with broken ribs and bruises etc but made it. The car hit 2 oak trees one about 8ft up on it then backed into another where it came to rest. The doors weren’t cut open that was from tree damage. I have a metal rod titanium in my left leg from the top of my femur to right above my knee. Fractured pelvis in 3 places and fractured left ankle. Looked like I was hit on the left side of my head with a ball bat glass in my head and face scratched from ankle all the way up my back. Shoulder blades both looked like a hot iron had been taken to them. Gash on the back of my head 3-3.5in long with gravel and dirt in it. Was a rough few months afterwards until early summertime before I could get around good without crutches was a month before I could get out of the hospital bed at home. Fully recovered though but still feel pains in my back daily and my hips from it but besides that not to bad. Thank you to the good lord for keeping me around another 18years.
